Eta Ayano  the basics full name oo Eta Ayano nickname oo Eta, Aya age oo seventeen birthday oo january 29th, 1999 gender oo female sexuality oo heterosexual the looks hair oo A mix between a raven black, and a dark violet. eyes oo dark violet when her ability isn't used. height & weight oo5'6ft / 135lbs overall looks oo Eta is a slim built individual, made entirely for speed. Her body is gifted with long limbs without many curves. Her skin is a flawless porcelain color, giving her eyes and overall stature a ghostly complexion. Above all of the physical perfection, Eta has a series of permanent herbal tattoos crossing the top of her back and shoulders. When using her ability, Eta's eyes turn a deathly black and red. Apparel wise, Eta dresses normally. On school grounds, she'll wear a skirt, white shirt, and a tie. Something to show her sympathy for the dress code. On off times, perhaps in town, she'll wear jeans, a think jacket, and a plain t-shirt to avoid special attention. In planned combat, she'll wear something easy to move around in, like a dark tshirt and leggings. Shoes wise, Combat boots are always a necessity. the personality likes - Drawing, Visual Arts - Yoga, so she can stay calm - Listening, she's better at it. - Preoccupying herself, so she doesn't have to face her demons. dislikes - Talking, her words sometimes come out as venom. - Fighting, she prefers to keep things verbal. - Being Angry, she doesn't want to loose control. - Her Past, anything behind her scares her. No matter how much she tells herself otherwise. strengths - close combat, her abilities make her super efficent. She does just as well in long range. - high anger tolerance, over the years, she has learned to keep herself in check. Nothing now a days makes her mad. - easily focused, although this can be her undoing at times, her ability to stay focused in class or on the field is rather useful. weaknesses (two plus) - midrange combat, her abilities make her a sitting duck. - water, her enhanced reflexes tend to slow down and make her more vulnerable in or under water. Her blood attack ability is also less efficient. - Attachments, she hates seeing the ones she loves get hurt. - anger, being angry makes her loose control, which most likely can get her killed. dreams (one plus) - to see her brother become normal again. fears (one plus) - her past, it's a scary one to. overall personality oo Eta is a quiet girl with a powerful set of silent gestures. Ever since she came to the academy, Eta hasn't talked very much, and when she has, it's normally when she's mad. Despite her petite appearance, Eta has had a silent strength to her, sometimes coming off as aggressive in the smallest conversations. It's a habit of her childhood, weakness isn't an option. Around allies, or somewhat friends, Eta still doesn't speak very often. However, when she does, it's just a side note, or something that means something to her. Eta isn't one to say something entirely dumb. Eta slightly relaxes around these individuals, but she still does have a wall up. In combat, Eta is silent and only peeps when she needs to give advice to her superiors. Now you must be asking, why doesn't Eta talk a lot? Well, from past experiences, Eta doesn't have much of a filter when she speaks. And if a conflict arises, Eta won't stop until she's right. This normally triggers her anger, which has the potential to hurt her, or anybody around her. Eta also fears this, because she doesn't want to turn into her brother, or her father. And she doesn't want to end up like her mother, who died trying to protect everyone- so she could only protect herself. the ability  name oo Blood Attacks control oo To use this ability, one needs to be in the right state of mind. The user needs to be calm in order preform attacks with positive results. If, however, the user is overreacting (angry, sad), then the user has a chance to harm themselves in the process. usage oo Blood Attacks is an all out offensive ability. It has two forms, self reaction and user reaction. When the user's blood is split by accident, even the smallest amount of blood, the blood that is exposed to the outside world will turn into weapons, and potentially attack anything nearby. This only works if the user is feeling threatened. The other is more formal, and more organised. The user can use there blood to create a weapon and fight with it. However, it decreases the amount of blood within there body, so they can only use the weapon for a short amount of time.  name oo Enhanced Reflexes control oo A user's increased reflexes is a genetic instinct, something a user cannot ignore. The user can move faster than most, giving them the ability to bounce around and preform parkour-like skills during combat. This makes a user highly dangerous up close, or really far away (if they have a long ranged weapon.) mid range is your best chance against them. usage oo Enhanced Reflexes are mostly a physical or a defensive trait, giving a user above average movements or physical skill. This doesn't increase one's strength, and only gives them inhuman speed when they are jumping around, or in combat. They cannot simply run away at the speed of light. And easy way to pick someone off with this ability is to force them in a situation with water, which slows down there movements.  name oo Blood Regeneration control oo An ability that gives the user an increased amount of blood in there body. It also increases the speed in which blood is created. As a counter ability to blood attacks, it gives the user more blood to create weapons. usage oo This is a passive ability, and cannot be used in battle by it's self. It merely gives the user more blood than normal. There are side effects to this, however, such as the occasional bleeding nose or ear. It's a feeling I can't remember... " A long time ago, roughly eighteen years ago, was a family in a farmhouse south of the city of Argi. A second child had been brought to the world by a loving mother and father, who would be joined by a brother no older than a year. The daughter was named Eta, which meant dreamer in the god's tongue. the father had big dreams for the child, which the mother disagreed with. The brother, however, was so happy just to have a sister. This would soon change. As the man of the house, the father's lord and savior was Oscura- the deity of all beings. The father had a cold hatred for Luz, who was the high overseer in the town over. He blamed Luz for the loss of his family many years before, who had died in a house fire in town. Kaiden Ayano had been the only survivor of his family, and was forced to live out his many years of childhood as an orphan. Even before this, he had dreams of helping those opposed to the chaser, those who chased off Oscura's followers. He wanted to create the ultimate warriors to destroy them, and give the town of Agri back to Oscura. These dreams scared Eta's mother, who had been a follower of Luz before she'd met Kaiden. She'd feared for her children as they slowly grew up. Kaiden was sure his children would be blessed by Oscura, and to be her swords. Kaiden, clearly, was insane. At the age of four, Kaiden taught Eta and her brother- 'Grim' how to use weapons. They were mostly lessons consisting of melee weapons, or hand to hand combat. At first he'd have them fight dummies, and eventually each other. Unlike Grim, who was okay with this, Eta was always crying due to the pain. She'd asked her father why her older brother was beating her up.... " Honey, there is no room for weakness. " The words haunted Eta, which slowly grew on her daily training. within two year's time, Eta and Grim merely saw the training as a way to compete, but they loved each other just as much. By then, Grim's abilities had manifested, which gave him an advantage over Eta. During training he was relentless, but on off times, he was always good old Grim. And Eta loved him just as much, despite her ability handicap. Her father didn't share the same feelings, because he only saw Eta's ability handicap as a weakness. At night, he'd pray to Oscura asking why she was prolonging Eta's manifestation, and asking why she couldn't be as powerful as her brother. At first, he got nowhere, but Oscura had eventually responded. And her words were short. " She's just as powerful as the day she was born. " Living on these words, Kaiden's training for Eta slowly became more gruesome. Unlike training with her brother, which they used fake weapons, Kaiden actually used real weapons towards Eta. At the age of nine, Eta would always come to the kitchen table with open wounds, for which Kaiden wouldn't allow her to clean them, or even heal them. Eta slowly lost her ability to be happy. She was distant, her anger slowly swelling. The only time she was happy was when she was with Grim, who still loved her with unconditional love. Kaiden slowly attempted to piece together his daughter's weakness, and assumed it was Grim. Eta's father would work Grim just as hard. Unlike the effects on Eta, Grim turned more twisted- more vile. the change in her brother sparked her rage. She had manifested. Her Blood Attack ability turned against her father, which tore his left eye out. while she had lost herself in her angry state, Kaiden had used Eta's mother as a meat shield, which killed her. The farmhouse eventually was a slaughter. In her angry state, Eta escaped her home, making her way towards Agri. Whatever happened that night, She was slowly guided by what she thought was Luz's light, which she followed to the academy. She took refuge there, slowly earning her place as a student at the academy. She was told she was special, but she never knew why her evil ability was considered a gift. It had killed her mother, turned her brother against her, and made her father a mad man. She was lost, and for the first time in her life, she was alone. ever since, Eta has lived as one of the most distant kids in the academy. Now Eighteen, she's almost a graduate, and is close to her apprenticeship. As far as she knows, she's one of the most promising graduates. And her only motivation is to be nothing like her family.
