Hello former members of Chasing Darkness! While it has been years since CD has been shut down, the staff and I finally made the decision to create a newer and updated version of the beloved plot. This has been accomplished in a fantasy setting, allowing members to play various supernatural creatures. The site in question has been running for a year now and the staff and I have no plans on shutting it down anytime soon! Gifted still exist on the site alongside chasers (now called hunters) so if you are interested in a sprinkling of something new for CD, you can find us on The Duality of Man.

A coldness has gripped the once warm summer weather. The color of the leaves begins to change, letting the world know fall is here. The scenery becomes very beautiful as the leaves fall from the trees.

A waterfall that is hidden and is said to have healing powers. Some people believe this and some don't, but either way it is a beautiful place. There is a hidden cave behind the rushing water.

A small potion of the mountains consist of a system of caves. These caves weave together into a tunnel system of sorts. Cold and damp are two words that define the caves well. Small puddles of water pool on the cave floors, making it a bit slippery. Sometimes Darkness shelter here or use this place as a hiding place.

Abandoned Mine

A separate cave closer to the abandoned village is the old mine. A labyrinth of cart tracks and path ways sprawl through this section of mountain. Old pickaxes and even a few ores of low rarity can be found here. Sometimes people go inside searching for these old items, but it's very easy to get turned around in this labyrinth, leaving people lost and even trapped inside. Rumor has it that Oscuro lives inside the mines, and uses it as a headquarters.

Mountains

A mountain range just outside of Argi that sprawls for miles. It is big and beautiful, although sometimes Darkness escapes here and requires somebody to get rid of it. There is a waterfall hidden through trees that many say has healing properties.
