If he is simply going out he tends to wear robes and gowns for ease of dress. Similarly, his shoes are either protective leather boots or slippers of some kind if he wears them at all. A slightly odd trait among his slippers is that they tend to have strings or strips of fabric attaching them to his legs. His hands are rough and callused from his work. His hair is often a mess thanks to either recently having showered or sweating from his work. the personality likes (four plus) - Candy - Hugs - Warm baths - Making things dislikes (four plus) - Being yelled at - Being too hot - The outdoors - Being too cold strengths (two plus) - Various crafting skills - Multiple bodies weaknesses (two plus) - Not a trained fighter - low self esteem dreams (one plus) - To have the same sort of love for someone else that he has for himself. fears (one plus) - Rejection. This can be broken down into several others, but the all center on rejection. Someone he loves finding him inadequate or society casting him out because he does not conform. The idea that he simply does not measure up to what he should be and people know that scares him to no end. overall personality oo He is a generally nice guy who feels like he is making up for some deep flaw. He wants others to like him and tries to win them over with gifts and trying to be of service. Anything to get their validation. Given the fact that he grew up making things he always had gifts to give. He also tries to heap praise on others reminding them of their good traits and accomplishments. He tries to help others be better and realize it so that they might see some value in him. Just as he can find something to praise in just about anyone. He is capable of finding flaw just as easily. This skill is mostly used against himself, but it also comes in handy when he ends up disliking someone. They rapidly lose all their good qualities and all he sees is their flaws. Every misstep and mistake is highlighted and anything good they do diminished. This means that people hold one of two very different positions for him. They are either magnificent beings on pedestals or loathsome creatures scurrying beneath the glorious light of the first group. Switching from one group to the other is not impossible but difficult. the ability name oo Frangible soul control oo He has granulated his power down to the percent and can successfully get a reaction out of a single percent of his soul. He stuff suffers a loss of feeling when spreading himself into the bodies making some tasks harder and he has not figured out how to maintain his senses while powering artifacts yet. Rebuilding himself is still an arduous process but no mistakes are made and he no longer ends up in the hospital afterward. usage oo He can break apart his soul and imbue things with parts of his soul. They generally fall into two categories: Golems and artifacts. The golems are bodies allowing him to act. They can be clay men, scarecrows, stuffed animals, or other the like. They are given animation and bear a part of his mind and soul. They are about as strong as whatever the represent (scarecrow would be as strong as a human of its size and build, terracotta horse would be as strong as a horse of its size, etc.) and have up and down sides depending on what they are made of. Scarecrows and stuffed animals are soft and flammable. Suits of armor rust and are time consuming to make. Clay and sugar do not tolerate water well but are quick to make. They also all have one common weakness. A small glowing crystal that contains the pieces of his soul. Break or disconnect it and the golem loses its animation and the shard has to find a new home. The artifacts are items imbued with one of the soul shards that use it to power some function. For instance guns that use the soul shard to produce bullets of spiritual energy or a cellphone that uses it to boost signal or never run out of battery. Their power depends on how much of his soul is put into it. A golem with one percent would be a nearly mindless creature capable of following very simple orders with some difficulty. It takes about 10 percent before they can be trusted to make use of his skills. The guns would produce something with about the punch of a .22 caliber bullet with one percent. Three percent would be about .45 caliber. Ten percent would give something on the level of a cannon. Finally he can reconstitute himself from the shards. Doing it in his original body is only a bit draining, but simply gathering the shards to make a new flesh and blood body would render him exhausted and unconscious. Unless he leaves some shards in it there is always a bit of damage to be heal and exactly how exhausting it is depends on how much repair work has to be done. the history mother oo Marry, 65, Glassblower father oo Stuart Pygmalion, 67, Painter siblings oo Metharme, 43, Sculptor. Galatea, 34, Machinist. other important people oo name, age, occupation (if applicable), relation to character (cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. as well as pets, close friends, or significant others) overall history oo He was born into a family of gifted people with a constellation of related gifts flowing down through paternal lines. They all had the ability to instill life into other things. The exact manifestation of this varied between descendants. Some could turn statues to living flesh and blood creatures. Some could possess corpses or living people. Others could animate them or bring drawings to life, but the basic idea remained the same. So, the family took on the name and named their children based on characters from the myth first, resorting to other names when they ran out. His sisters were magnificent, but had little time for him. They had their own lives and did not need some little kid tagging along with them. His parents had their jobs to attend to most of the time. Before he went to school he hung out with his father’s paintings and his own golems. While talking to yourself was sort of pointless, playing with yourself was not. He always had someone his own age to play with who was always a decent match for him. When he went to school he did not have any friends and continued to play as he had before. The other kids saw that he was always busy with the others and did not know that they were all the same person. They had no way to know that they would have been open to playing or consolidating themselves if they had only known how intimidating it was to come into such a tight knit group. They also assumed he was a bit slow. It was hard to be as bright as other children when your mind was spread between several bodies, but when consolidated into a single body he was brighter than most of them. He had a few people who broke through that barrier and found him a bright and fast friend. It was incredible to have a friend who fawned over you and always had your back. They never wanted for lunch or company. They always had a team whenever it came to sports, and that team was alway there for the assist. No ball hogs or show offs. Every member was there to let you make the goal and help you be the best you could be. In group projects you could off load most of the work knowing that he could be brilliant when needed and menial tasks could be accomplished quickly. They joked that he was a foul weather friend. Where others abandoned you in times of trouble but appeared when things were going well, he appeared when things went bad and could be cast aside when things were going well again. This continued until he left school and his friends moved on to bigger and better things. He worked in his family's shops learning various crafts and quickly out shined his parents and siblings thanks to the multiple bodies allowing him to learn at an accelerated rate. He enjoyed it but was forced out because of a combination of jealousy and Galatea catching him making out with hisselves. It led to and awkward work environment and he did not want to compete with his family. He would have had an unfair advantage on them and it seemed cruel to put them out of business. Instead he applied to the chaser academy hoping to turn his gifts towards something more productive and go back to happier times. Just hanging out with his family had given him a much smaller social pool and he was starting to miss it. the role player ooc name oo Quibs experience oo about 20 years other characters oo use @username please |
