The brute was coming towards her, the thunderstorms, it was hard to ignore them. It stopped though, hearing somebody running by her and then towards the brute, she noticed it was Fritz. She blinked, her head hurt from the cut, her body hurt from having to deal with so much of avoiding getting hit. That was the first time Darkness had attacked her, she couldn't help but wonder if that was how Nicholas and Garrett had felt before Candy and Dream had found them. Her brothers never really spoke of the Darkness, she hadn't expected the brute to sound like thunderstorms because it hadn't sounded like that the last time she had heard the Darkness when Dream was fighting them off. Last time it sounded only like screaming, because the only fear they really had at the time was their parents beating on them.
It didn't take long for Fritz to kill off the brute and when he had, he had come over to her. "I don't think anything is broken.... but I hurt all over..." She had no reason to hold back on the subject. A hand reached up to her head partly because she had a headache, just to pull it away because she had felt something wet. "Huh... I'm bleeding." Figures.... She blinked, feeling tired, the only thing she wanted to think about was sleep, not to mention it would help her get over this darn headache. Her head hurt, not as much as the rest of her body, but it hurt none the less. I signed up to kill those things.... I don't know if I could do it, I don't know if I could face them again.
She might have wanted to go out of her way to hug Fritz but she hurt to much for such an action. "Hey... can you look to see how big my cut is?" She asked, figuring if it wasn't to big she would just go home. She didn't have a death wish though. "My head hurts..... ugh..." Another hand was pressed against her forehead as if it would ease the headache, but it wasn't working. "If it isn't do much.... can you give me a ride home?" She felt like she was asking him to much, but walking home wasn't an option anymore. Assuming he agreed she would have gotten into his car for him to drive her home so that she could later go to sleep.
