Their eyes are a stark contrast to that, being light blue and light orange. People often comment on that, but Xanu attributes it to genetics. Another thing they attribute to genetics is their head of uber curly black hair. Usually they like to wear their wild hair up in a ponytail so as to keep it manageable. Aside from that Xanu is pretty chubby, being above average in the weight category. They like to wear baggy clothes as well. This could be sweaters or simple dresses and crop tops. They don't really mind wearing any type of clothes except for form clinging things. They can also usually be found with some kind of sigil draw on their skin in order to make casting magic easier. They are constantly forgetting what they were doing or even saying. They are horrible with names and dates and constantly have to be reminded about things. Despite that they have troubles talking to people they don't know. They flinch at even the slightest sign of aggression and their fighting is absolutely abysmal. Xanu is pretty much in love with anything having to do with plants. Herbs and flowers and vines and trees and they just love everything and anything in that has to do with nature. Along with their love for plants comes their love for helping others. Maybe they feel the need to help others so strongly because of their past, but they try to heal and save people every chance they get. While they are very kind, they have trouble being around other people. the ability name oo Magic control oo varying control and incredibly weak usage oo while they can use many different types of magic, it isn't something instant. They have to gather the supplies needed, create the sigils and signs needed, and recite the spell exactly. Even a slight mix up could be disastrous. After they've done this the spell will be cast, but often times the spell isn't what they wanted it to be or it only lasts a small amount of times, usually five minutes. For this to be practical for any type of combat they would have to increase the speed of it by at least twenty times, increase the durations, or think ahead, all of which they are terrible with. Mostly they use healing, growth, and summoning spells. He was born with a twin at his side. Xanu got the wizardry powers and Evenie was left with nothing. The two never really got along, but they also never really saw each other. Almost every waking moment for Xanu was spent honing a power they weren't very good at using. Their father was wonderful with his powers able to to lots of things, and he said that Xanu was supposed to be more powerful thanks to genetics or whatever. That however, just wasn't true. Xanu trained for hours each day but they never got any better at the spells their father was teaching them. They'd mess up the incantation or they'd draw the wrong sigil or they'd forget an ingredient. No matter what they did it was never right, that's not even mentioning the whole gender thing. Xanu tried to explain their gender to their parents when they were thirteen, but they brushed it off as a phase, telling Xan not to bring it up again. So Xan kept going in life. Their twin was constantly making their life harder. Evenie, always the better of the two of them, felt that they should have been the one to have all the power. Since neither of them could do anything about it they resigned to making Xanu's like a living hell, more so than it already was. It was only when they were fifteen that Xanu's life got a little better. In school they met a girl who was just beautiful and understood Xanu like nobody had before. They were head over heels for the girl and stuck to her like glue. Xan stopped going to the practices that their father set out for them and instead hung out with the girl. It was wonderful, while they were in the moment. Once Xan got home after a missed practice there was their father's wrath to deal with. They also never managed to get out of the practice, just postpone them. Xan was getting little to no sleep, had an angry and abusive father, a family that didn't understand them, and the only respite was their one friend. One night when they were practising with their father they made a particularly awful mistake. A wrong ingredient to a potion resulted in a toxic cloud to spread throughout the house. Evenie was out of the house, but Xanu's mother and father didn't have the same fate. The cloud suffocated them. Being the one to create the cloud Xan wasn't killed by it, but they were horrified by their actions. They fled the house and ran to their friend. They cried on their shoulder about what had happened and all warmth that had once radiated from the girl left. She was disgusted that Xan had killed somebody. Xanu tried to explain, but there was no helping it. They fled again and started making a life on their own. They could be themself, but it wasn't all they had wanted. It was different. Xan got an apartment where they could be themself, kept learning the type of magic that they wanted to learn, and was happier than they once had been. They even got a breast reduction surgery that they had wanted for a while.
