Candy Bag. [open]

[Roxanna Arc]

Rays of golden sunlight rained down around the Sunny Mall, which gave reason for one of Roxanna's infamous candy runs. Dressed in her typical pirate-like clothes, the young adult left a small mall shop with a brown paper bag in her left hand. Silently, little crunches came from the bag as Roxanna strode down the mall's hallways with her treasure. Her strange garb brought many glances of confusion her way, but she ignored the judgmental gazes. Years of bullying over her fashion sense had caused an immunity to such gazes. Thoughts of the variety of candy contained within the paper bag also brought a distractions to the young lady. A lip-tight grin crawled onto Roxanna's face as she lifted the bag before her face, examining the candy-filled bag. Gleefully, Roxanna giggled, "So perfect!"

Roxanna's green eyes started about the mall, looking for a location to enjoy the candy she'd purchased. Nowhere seemed unoccupied by people, benches, tables, they all seemed to have gaggles of people hovering around. An annoyed sigh came from Roxanna as she lowered the bag, her smile fading. "You've gotta be kidding me," Roxanna murmured. Taking a few slow steps, Roxanna took another look around the mall, drawing closer and closer to the food court. It was difficult for Roxanna to believe that so many had ventured forth on the sunny, winter day. Black shoes gently tapping against the tiles with each given step, Roxanna saw it in her peripheral vision. A two person table without a single occupant sat at the north edge of the food court. Her smile reappeared as she hastily dashed towards the empty table.

"Yes, yes, yes!" Roxanna whispered to herself as she took a seat. Like most of the food court seats, the chairs were hard and lacked comfort. Fortunately, Roxanna was uncomplaining, leaving her happily sitting at the table. Placing the brown bag atop the table, the bounty hunter opened the bag, revealing her candy treasure. Her treasure consisting of gummy worms, suckers, starbursts, jolly ranchers and a variety of different chocolate bars. Smile broadening, Roxanna peered inside the paper bag, debating which candy to consume first.

[Dream Wolf]

He was mingling as he had never done so before. Fang was easily able to hide his identity, he had died his hair blue, and his green eyes made everyone not realize he was the one the Chasers were after. When he spotted Roxxy though...He grinned. She would recognize him, but would she act on it? Did she even know? The report was for Dream Wolf, not his alter ego Fang. He made his way over slowly, he flirted with a couple girls as they passed him an they giggled before moving off. It was nice to know that he had the skill without having been able to use it though.

"Roxxy, long time no see." He sat down across from her, his eyes on her bag of candy. Not because he wanted some, but just in case she had some trick hidden inside. He gave her a god looking over, just in case, but mostly because he had never been able to. Dream was such a freaking prude.

[Roxanna Arc]

Roxanna rubbed her hands together, her green eyes staring attentively into her paper bag. Her decision over what candy to consume first had yet to be made, leaving Roxanna to stare into her bag of goodies. With a grin crawling onto her face, Roxanna plucked into the bag, retrieving a starburst from her candy stash. Quickly, her fingers unwrapped the pink wrapping on the tiny square before throwing it into her mouth. A strawberry taste erupted into Roxanna's mouth, and Roxanna savored the sweet taste of the pink candy. She swallowed it, but before Roxanna could reach for another square candy, a voice came from the other side of the table. Immediately, Roxanna's green eyes glanced up at the person who spoke, finding herself greeted with a familiar face. The person before her acted like an old friend, yet Roxanna could not recall the face.

That was when Roxanna remembered earlier in her day, when her father had shown her a list of bounties. The facial features seemed correct from what Roxanna remembered, but the hair wasn't the right colour. Despite the possibility of someone dangerous standing before, she was pretty happy since this could mean a fight, plus a fulfilled bounty. "I would say the same to you, but I can't seem to place a name, care to tell?" Roxanna asked, pulling the edges of her jacket closer. She shivered, acting as though she was a tad bit cold, when really she was hiding the pocket knife inside her inner coat pocket. "Man, wish I didn't feel so cold," Roxanna commented. Although a lie, Roxanna was rather capable of doing so without any calls, but a well trained eyed to calls could find one by chance. The bounty hunter thought over the weapons she had, which only consisted of her sheathed military bowie knife, holstered gun and lastly the pocket knife she had hidden in her jacket.

Roxanna made no moves, for she knew that a confrontation in the crowded mall wouldn't end well on her part. Gaggles of people were scattered about the mall, meaning that innocent people could easily get harmed or in the way. With a lip-tight grin, Roxanna's hand returned to the bag and retrieved a red starburst. Once again, her fingers went into the procedure of unwrapping the candy and placing it into her mouth. This one tasted like cherries, but this time Roxanna didn't dare savor for if this ended with combat she wished to taunt her possible opponent. Soon, the bounty hunter realized that the blue-haired boy was looking at the bag then switched to her. "Want some? I often get quite a bit so I don't mind sharing." Roxanna offered, pushing the opening in his direction. Truly, she hoped this would keep his eyes off of her and onto something else. If this person was an enemy, then she couldn't allow attention to sway her way too often.

[Dream Wolf]

Fang sighed. "I'm hurt, but then I can't blame you. You know me as Dream Wolf. You used to play with me and Cassy Dacul when we were little, of course Dream is Sleeping right now, and its me Fang who is in charge. And you can think again about what ever weapon you have hidden. I'm not here for a fight, I'm here to experience life, which I was so horribly denied for so long."

He smiled, but unlike Dream's kind smile, this one was predatory and slightly insane. "Poor Dream, he's in so much pain right now, killed his first crush, and now he can't bear to see the world. I'd feel bad for him, really I would, but if he wasn't sleeping, I would be trapped again. So Roxxy, how have you been? It's been a while since I saw you last, not since the idiot who I live in had that falling out with poor Cassy. You know she confessed to him? Just before she left? So sad for her really."

He intentionally ignored the offer of candy, he knew it was a ploy to distract him. Fang was smart, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. But he lacked real life experience, so in the end it would not take much to capture, but today, he would not be caught.

[Roxanna Arc]

A small laugh arose from Roxanna at the mention of her weapons along with the name. This "game" as Roxanna called it was turning interesting, since her enemy was indeed observant and smart. "Ah, Dream, haven't heard that name in a while. As for you, Fang, it appears you've made this game a lot more interesting. Clever you are to know I carry a weapon," Roxanna said, adding another chuckle to the end. The once kind smile on Roxanna's face shifted to a smirk, she had truly wishes for a fight, but this was for the best. Slowly, Roxanna's green eyes gazed at the wolfish smile upon the Fang's face. "How lucky for you that I don't want to disturb the peace, so I suppose you get your experience," Roxanna said in a mock sort of fashion. Once Fang continued speaking again, Roxanna's left hand reached out, grabbing the candy bag to stow it away the outer pocket of her jacket. "Yes, a sad tale, but I'm not one to remain in the gloom," Roxanna replied, a small smile on her face.

[Dream Wolf]

Fang laughed. "Smart. But I know you well enough to know you won't put innocent lives at risk. Oh Dream wants to now if you could kill us? I doubt it, but he asked, and unlike him, I won't fail to pass along a message."

Fang looked at a girl who walked near them. He smiled, but sensibly the girl realized something was off and hurried away. "Have you ever killed, Roxxy? I have. Did it for Dream, and the girl I love. This evil, evil woman, she killed these two innocent boys, and I got so angry. So I used my Blood Forge to make her body compress and expand so suddenly, so forcefully, she exploded, like a balloon filled with ketchup and wood chips. It was so powerful her bones were reduced to shards, her organs to slime. Despite what it may seem, it was not the experience I thought it would be. I don't regret it, not one bit. But I do wish I had chosen a slightly less gruesome way to accomplish my goal."

For a small moment a hint of regret shone in the green eyes of the supposed psycho killer. He never looked away from Roxxy, oh no that was dangerous to even think of, but he did blink once, slowly. "Dream. I do feel somewhat sorry for him I guess. But i have things to do. You know Roxxy, I could deal with you quite easily. Any metal you try to use against me will melt, I can absorb from you until you fall unconscious, but more than that, I could paralyze you by freezing your blood. But I won't do that, because you were nice to us when we were little, when most people were so cruel, simply because I existed. 'The darkness is in him' they said. 'Lock him away forever, so he cant hurt anyone' they shouted. But there were those few who stood by us. You, Cassy, Candy, the Wolf Family, the Dracul Family. Cassy's sister was nice too."

[Roxanna Arc]

Whether it was conceited nature or truth, Roxanna chuckled at the idea of a fight against her being easy. Certainly the inability to use metal weapons would hinder her, but Roxanna had skillfulness in her occupation. Plus all things took energy, which meant she simply would have to find the correct time. "Well you never know, since karma will always have its way. If I get scent to execute or bring you to justice, I can almost promise that if I perish, I deserved it. The afterwards someone will rise in my place," Roxanna said, her tone somewhat serious. Karma was something Roxanna heavily believed in after all, which would bring cause to seriousness. A girl drew near, but a glance from Fang caused her to scurry off. Blame couldn't be brought upon the girl, for the smile Fang had given her mustn't have been pleasant. Roxanna listened as Fang explained the rather repulsive deed he'd done.

Meeting Fang's green eyes, Roxanna answered, "Yes. With no choices, I used my power to end a life. A gifted who refused to go and serve his time and would've killed me if I dare went easy on him. Where you may have killed for the safety of others, I killed for my own safety." Roxanna's eyes seemed cold, like the trained eyes of a killer, and lacked any sorts of regret. Besides, to Roxanna they died because karma was catching up with them. "When my knife pierced their skin, I felt the warmth of blood drip over my hands. However, I dare not torture someone by making them burst like a balloon." Gruesome was what Fang's description was, but Roxanna was unfazed by the idea. After the talk of bloody death, Fang began to explain his reasons for not executing Roxanna here and now. "You can seem as untouchable as you like, but karma will find its way," Roxanna responded. "And I suppose I should be counting my blessings then."

[Dream Wolf]

Fang nodded when she spoke of killing. "I did not intend to torture. My goal is not simply to make conversation. I want people to know I did not intend to cause such distress. I thought I would have to find someone I knew to tell."

He was a little paranoid about it all. One of the reasons he had been tryin to contact Oscuro, SHE would know how to treat him. He was born of Darkness after all. He held Roxxy's gaze, his eyes filled with honest feeling. "I don't want to die, Roxxy. And I don't really want to kill, but if people try to kill me, I will kill them instead. They aren't giving me a choice, the order isn't to 'retrieve' us, its to 'eliminate the threat'. There is no threat unless they make one!"

He sighed. "I'm not used to having all these feelings. It used to be nothing but anger, frustration. Then Dream fell in love. Now i have all these weird feelings. I'm Darkness Damn it!"

[Roxanna Arc]

Death seemed to be the common topic of the conversation as Fang added more information to the lady's death. "Hmm, so you made a mistake? Dang, at least you can say it wasn't on purpose," Roxanna responded. Her left elbow relaxed on the table as her head got balanced on her hand, a calculating look on the girl's face. Unlike the gruesome death Fang had committed, Roxanna's first kill had been intentional solely because she needed to survive along with the high risk factors in not ending the fight there and then. Maintaining eye contact, Roxanna watched carefully as Fang spoke honestly about killing and what was at stake. The boy sighed before he continued on about what he was feeling. After all was said, Roxanna hesitated before sighing in annoyance. "Listen, I can maybe fix the situation, but I can't make any promises. I have fame, but even then I can't do much. Besides, as far as I am concerned, Dream is sort of a hostage in this situation and I know he is a good kid. But I doubt I have enough pull alone, so chances are you're stuck as being seen as a criminal," Roxanna responded in a hush voice.

The rabbit-hatted girl had scanned Fang's eyes, and they didn't have the same look as the bounties she'd gone after. Unfortunately, it was difficult to sway a crowd of revenge seekers, meaning that even her weight of opinion may do nothing. "Perhaps some humanity leaked in? Who knows, but at least you don't turn into snakes and spider. Yuck, those are creepy!" Roxanna suggested, laughing at the end of her little thoughts about spiders and snakes. Darkness wasn't something that Roxanna was too pleased with, mostly because of the way it manipulated someone's fears.

[Dream Wolf]

Fang smiled, and instead of the predatory grin it had been this was an honest smile. "Thank you for at least trying. It's a hell of a lot more than anyone else has offered. And even though he can't really feel it right now, Dream is thankful too."

Fang glanced at a couple of police officers who were walking by. They kept walking, chatting as they did. He shook his head. "I don't have much longer. Listen I also need you to pass along a warning. Someone's been killing, and making it look like Darkness. I felt the energy of two humans, but for some reason I couldn't really figure one out, it seemed familiar but I couldn't get a fix on it. When I caught up to them, there was a lot of blood, but no body, and the area was trashed and slashed as if by a Razor. When I looked it up, it had been labeled a Darkness killing...If I say something to the authorities myself they will probably try to blame it on me."

[Roxanna Arc]

An honest smile crawled its way onto Fang's face when Roxanna said she'd try to do something about the penalty. A word of thanks came from the boy. "No problem, just try not to get into anymore trouble. My reputation is good enough to maybe do something, but anymore damage and I might be incapable of doing anything, but I will try." Roxanna wasn't sure how she would sway the penalty, but she already knew it involved her getting a glance at the case records. Police officers walked by, observing the foodcourt with eagle eyes. Roxanna glanced sideways at the officers, hoping that her presence wouldn't cause them to walk over. Shoving her hand into her pocket and tearing a piece of the brown paper bag. With the other hand, she fetched a small pen from her pocket. While Fang continued telling her information, she wrote down her phone number as well as her address.

"So you think it was murder? I can look into it. Anyways take this, if you need to get in contact with me, Roxanna said quietly, pushing the paper towards Fang. A small smile appeared on Roxanna's face. "And I promise if we have a murderer I will track them down myself if they get a bounty that is. I need something to do after all." Roxanna added, happy that she may have gotten herself a new job and jobs always gave cause for smiles.

[Dream Wolf]

Fang looked at her and took the number. "Thanks. But listen. I told you the energy seemed familiar, so its someone I know. Not sure why I couldn't get a good read on them, but I will keep trying to figure it out. I wish I could give you a number to contact me with, but that would be too dangerous."

He glanced at a couple of people who were moving slowly, almost suspiciously. "Oh and there's an accumulation of Darkness at the Beach, I won't attack them, I'm working on something right now and that would ruin everything."

[Roxanna Arc]

Tapping her finger against the table, Roxanna took another glance around as Fang continued. She noticed the slow pair, which caused her paranoia to trigger. Roxanna was consorting with someone labelled a criminal, which meant possible trouble for her and Fang if this pair was up to no good. Her gaze returned back to Fang, her face wearing a smile as though she was conversing with an old friend. "Don't mention it, and I'll do my best to get a list of suspects. Anyone I should strike out or search around for?" Roxanna asked, trying to further gain information about who she should seek out. Although the suspiciously moving pair were still lurking, Roxanna kept her gaze on Fang. Further information was given, this time about darkness and how they were gathering at the beach. Roxanna gave a small nod, "I can inform the chasers about it."

[Dream Wolf]

Fang nodded. "You can eliminate a number of people, Kris, Fritz, and Candy of course, I would know their energy from the limit of my perception, even if they were hiding it. This person is definitely female though, and older than ten but younger than twenty. Beyond that, I cannot tell you more." Fang kept one eye, and brunt of his Absorbs ability to detect, on the suspicious couple.

"Dream doesn't want to think about, but if you could send flowers in our name to Max's parents? They probably wont like it, since we killed them, but Dream will feel better." Fang still did not know that Max was still alive. When the event had occurred, every drop of Max's energy was gone, and that meant death. Fang smiled as if talking to a good friend as the couple turned in their direction. His disguise had fooled everyone so far, but there was that chance that someone would notice him...

[Roxanna Arc]

Fortune had swept Roxanna's way as Fang gave her a small list of names she could cross off. Only one was familiar, that being Candy, but she didn't bother asking for specifications about the three Fang had named off. Further information took a good portion of Argi off the list as Fang stated the person was female and in between ten to twenty years of age. "I can probably find this girl. That eliminates quite a few people, plus you have to know them, making this the perfect little search for me to conduct. In fact, thanks for the job," Roxanna responded, a small laugh trailing afterwards. Leaning back in her chair, Roxanna's hand slithered into her candy bag and grabbed another starburst. She unwrapped it and popped it into her mouth while she listened to Dream's request. "Of course! I would be happy to do such a nice request, now any flower preference and do you have an address for me to go to?" A joyful tone to her voice upon asking. This did seem like a kind and fun idea after all, so Roxanna was pleased to be a mailwoman for this.
