It is behind him and it was beyond his control at the time to change the outcome; thus as much as it devastated him, he has accepted it… By the age of three, Viktor began showing abnormal abilities. He could change the environment around him and bring inanimate objects to life with his prescence. His concerned parents had no idea what to do, but loved him regardless. They were at least relieved that he did not cause damage to the lives around him or behave violently. No, he was a happy infant, and he would grow into a happy child. He was a compassionate soul who enjoyed healing and rejuvenating dying plants and trees in the forest around the family home. He constructed small companions out of thing air, breathing life into what did not previously exist. His parents were bewildered and amazed. They had no idea how he could have come to possess such power – a miracle, perhaps? Nevertheless, though they did not know what he was capable of, they taught him control starting at an early age. They taught him the power of mediation and finding his “centre” from which he could channel his power. He was a bright child that learned fast. Nonetheless, tragedy would soon strike when Darkness plagued the nearby areas. As he slept, the evil of the Darkness corrupted his dreams and sent him into a nightmare. Tortured by Darkness, he could not control the power within him and he exploded… At least, a burst of energy exploded from within him, decimating his home and the surrounding area within a mile of him. He soon awoke to the destruction he caused. It did not take him long to realize the lives he took… His parents. Distraught and alone, he wandered. He discovered he did not need to eat or drink to survive – his power sustained him. Despite feeling broken and lost, he continued his parents lessons with a determination to never lose control again. By the time he was ten, he was discovered by Luz and brought to The Chaser Academy. His power and his control of it put him in a level above many of his classmates. He excelled in his lessons at The Academy and became one of the top students. He was often relied on for more of the deadlier missions and has never been defeated by the Darkness or failed. He stills takes on missions, typically solo, but is also keen on teaching apprentices at The Academy. Despite his interest, he is very selective with who he teaches.
