His large frame is held together by rippling muscles and chisel-cut abs. On his head is a messy bunch of brown hair, a testament to the amount of shi-..."shucks" he gives about his appearance. The color of his eyes aside, he was born with a mean sort of expression on his face. Anyone who's taken a really good look are usually taken aback at the menacing aura they feel. His left ear is pierced, and he sports a single, simple looking earring. When taken together, Hachirou's massive build, furrowed brows, intimidating scowl, and strange red eyes leads people to wonder just how many times he's been in jail. Those who favor the bad-boy types might find him to be right up their alley though... On the other hand, his choice of clothing runs the gamut from strangely trendy to outright strange. Hachirou almost always has a satchel with some miscellaneous items around his waist. This is secured on his body by an extra-long, fashionable-looking belt with a metal buckle on the loose end. He also wears very fashionably styled leather gloves on his hands. His attire looks like extremely out-of-fashion, modified, old-school Japanese gakurans. Hachirou chose this outfit specifically to hide his build, but it ends up lending to his intimidating vibe. He is usually wearing some off-brand, non-descript brown shoes that he has managed to procure from somewhere. the personality
Contrary to his extremely striking looks, Hachirou is one who values peace and normalcy above all. He has a gentle and caring heart, and is especially prone to doting on small and cute beings. So long as it isn't too far out of his way, he will at least attempt to help others maintain their normalcy as well. However, due to his appearance, once the person he has approached has taken a good look at his face, they all tend to back away in order to avoid what they perceive as even more trouble. This sort of response has led to Hachirou exhibiting a more timid approach towards unknown individuals. While attempting to restore normalcy, Hachirou tends to favor the most directly efficient method. However, due to his near-complete disregard for the potential repercussions, his solutions tend to cause even more trouble for the one who he was trying to help in the first place. For example, if a child's balloon was stuck in a tree, Hachirou would favor burning the tree down and buying the child another balloon to prevent the child getting another balloon getting stuck in that particular tree rather than simply climbing up to fetch the balloon for the child. overall history oo He would have you believe that he lived an extremely normal life with no real periods of upheaval, but... Just kidding. He would be right…mostly. Aside from being born into a family running a Dojo specializing in fighting the Darkness and doing all the training that might be associated with that, Hachirou has lived a relatively normal life. After a particularly traumatizing experience during preschool where he had stood out (He pissed his pants during a performance, then slipped on the puddle and fell into it face first. He then puked all over his preschool crush who had come over to help him up…It wasn't me who told you, alright? He's already made it so that people have mostly forgotten this by now…), he vowed to make sure to never stand out again. It was at this moment that his Chaser ability was born within him. Since then, Hachirou's life has basically revolved around honing his skills and condition at the dojo (while making sure not to stand out), being healthy, and doing reasonably well at academics. His cute childhood friend was pretty instrumental in the formulation of this circumstance. Sakuya has always wanted to be a professional sports player, and so would always drag Hachirou around doing this and that when he wasn't otherwise occupied at the dojo. Additionally, since student athletes needed to maintain a certain level of academic performance, it was up to Hachirou to tutor the slightly absent-minded Sakuya to get her grades up to par. It was almost always one-on-one tutoring since… … Hey, this bastard has lived a pretty pink-colored and whimsical life hasn't he? This guy…! There must be something, the lucky bastard! Damn it, his parents are loving and caring and all around excellent people! I guess he has no real friends, but that's not all that uncommon these days with all the fake friendships! His age makes it look like he's repeated more than his fair share of schoolyears, but it's only because of his ability making others not notice that he has a Chaser ability that he was admitted into the system late! Damn it! This can't be true! Why is his life so -…oh that's right. I guess this counts. He was also pretty busy getting his hide whipped by his father for trying to "help" people. Seriously, you'd think that after the sixth time someone had to call the fire department after he was involved Hachirou would know better than to assume "light it on fire" is an acceptable go-to method of problem solving.
