verrat hensson the basics full name oo verrat hensson nickname oo lazy, rat, lazy rat, the ghost age oo twenty two birthday oo october twenty third, nineteen ninety three gender oo male sexuality oo pansexual the looks hair oo verrat has soft, short black hair. it barely goes past his ears. eyes oo the same shade as his eyes, pure black. though the whites of his left eye always have a bit of a pinkish tinge to them. for some reason, that eye is constantly dry. he puts in drops every few minutes, but it doesn't help with the offwhite red situation, unfortunately. height & weight oo five foot five inches tall, one hundred twenty seven pounds. overall looks oo Verrat is actually a somewhat plain person to look at. He wears casual clothes, typically jeans and hoodies with some form of sneakers, has short black hair, and black eyes. His left eye, however, is a bit red in it's whites. But other than that, there isn't really anything outstanding about his appearance. He doesn't have any fancy blue hair or weirdly colored eyes. He doesn't have any cool scars are odd clothes to wear. He's just... normal. However, that changes when he fights. As soon as he begins a battle, his Mask comes on. It's a rather... frightening one at that. Something that doesn't fit into his personality at all. But he says it's because when he fights, Verrat isn't himself. He hates killing things, and so typically when he's fighting, he's killing something. He's ashamed of that, and so it's best that he hides his face. It doesn't really make any sense, but to him that doesn't matter. It's something he does in order to cope. The mask is pure black, covering his entire face other than his left eye. Two strings hold the mask up in the center, going on either side of his nose, connecting to an eyepatch over his right eye. The part that covers his mouth has no lips, instead showing both it's "gums and teeth", a zipper through the middle so he could open it up at any time. Two purifying canisters attach to his neck, one on either side, forming a makeshift gasmask as well, dealing with the most common of poisonous gasses efficiently enough. When this mask is on, he tends to turn his emotions off in order to protect himself from getting hurt psychologically. He moves without a sound, striking fast and hard. He doesn't like to play around with it on. Because of this, people have started to call him The Ghost, in and out before anyone can really see, leaving nothing but the remains of the Darkness in his wake. the personality likes - sleeping - shirking off responsibility - eating - blades - pranks - people's reactions - reading - video games - really, anything entertaining dislikes - heat - mushrooms - boring reactions - boring people - boredom in general - failed pranks - being burdened with responsibilities - tight spaces - killing things in general strengths - extremely adaptable. verrat is able to not only think on the fly, but act on it almost literally as soon as it comes to mind. - his laziness level is over nine thousand. you can't get him to care enough to be frazzled for the majority of the time. he can barely be fazed by anything. - as lazy as he is, he's also surprisingly creative. verrat is able to use his abilities to the maximum. weaknesses - he's pretty hesitant when it comes to killing anything. even darkness. he hates even the thought of death. no matter the species, he doesn't like seeing things die. - verrat is, again, super mega lazy. he doesn't like fighting in general, and it takes a whole lot in order to get him to pick up his blades. - it could be said that verrat relies on his powers way too much. and it's true. he loves using it, and it's become this sort of crutch for him. - don't let him eat any mushrooms. because after he does? he's in the bathroom for, like, three hours. ... it's bad. dreams - to get another pet bird eventually. - to be of some use to his god. - to protect his friends. fears - that he'll be stuck forever. - all of his friends will die again. - an extreme and irrational fear of having his mind taken over or read, both psychically. which is impossible. but it's a phobia for him. overall personality oo Verrat is actually pretty likable, friendly to those around him. When you first meet him, Verrat will greet you with a smile and talk as if you've been friends since birth. He's laid back, not one for any unnecessary stress or drama in his life. If you just want someone to chill out with, he's your man. He knows all of the relaxing spots in town, and is perfectly fine for a day of R&R after a stressful time in your life. Everyone needs a day off! And if you need someone to vent to? Verrat is your guy. He's actually fairly trustworthy, listening to people's problems and taking it all into a little safe into his mind is what he does best. He won't give away any of your problems to another human for as long as he lives. People's secrets are their own to give out, and if you trust him with them? He respects that. He won't blurt it out to any open ear. It's safe with him. After all, he is extremely loyal to his friends and his god, and would do anything to help them out. He watches their backs. He fights tooth and nail for them. And Verrat hates it when they're in pain. You hurt one of his companions? You're gonna have a bad time. Verrat is a very pious individual. You will often see him praying to his god before and after fights, and at random times during the day. He's humble, knowing his strengths and weaknesses very well. There isn't one thing about himself that he doesn't know, and he absolutely hates not being in control of himself. He knows his downsides. His faults. And he accepts them. Accepts his limitations with open arms. But if someone forces him to do things against his will? He doesn't like that. It's why he has the irrational fear of having a psychic crash their way into his mind. He's comfortable with himself, not with others loitering in his brain. The Chaser, if anything, is intelligent. He may not look it or act like it, but some would consider him a genius. And while he can't solve the majority of calculus problems, and the most complicated fact about biology he knows is that the mitochondria are the powerhouses of the cell, if it's anything about tactics? Darkness? Abilities? Yes sir. That's his bread and butter. He really likes to look at fights and deconstruct them bit by bit. Molecule by molecule. Looking for any other choices that could have been made, making another outcome entirely. And he's able to do that during a fight because he's so calm, cool, and collected. Hardly anything phases him. He's in control of his own self. Verrat is extraordinarily creative, able to think and act on the fly so fast you'd have thought that it was apart of his original plan all along. That's because, above all else, Verrat is adaptable. He can take almost any situation and somehow twist it to go his way. And that's how he likes it. He doesn't enjoy having the lower hand. And it's because of his positive features that people just can't help but like him. He's a pretty cool guy. However, Verrat has his faults. Just like everyone else. First and foremost. Verrat is incredibly, undeniably, extremely lazy. He is the very definition of a couch potato. He'd like nothing more in the whole universe than to lay down on the grass and watch the sky for the rest of his life. Because of this, he's super irresponsible, doing anything he can (when it isn't something extremely serious) to shirk off his duties. He doesn't like being stressed by avoidable stuff. It's annoying. Verrat is easily distracted, a butterfly floating in the breeze is enough to grab his attention away from a fight. It doesn't help it if the fight is being handled fairly well. The safer Verrat is, the more he is distracted by every little thing. Because of this, the boy is rather inattentive to things he doesn't find interesting. If you don't keep a certain "wow factor" at all times, you're going to be ignored. Or everything you say is going to go in one ear and immediately right out the other. He's a really sarcastic individual as well, and for the most part, the majority of what he says isn't him being serious. Verrat is not a serious guy. He just isn't. And some people don't realize it when his naturally dry sarcastic quips sneak their way into his conversation so smoothly that it's almost impossible to tell the difference between it and the truth. Speaking of the truth, whenever you ask Verrat's opinion on something, do not (repeat: DO NOT) expect him to let you in easy. His words are going to hit the floor not only running, but in a car with the gas pedal through the floorboard. He's blunt with his opinions. Extremely so. So people often get offended by him. "Does this dress make my hips look big?" "Yes." It's common to see Verrat with a red cheek, fresh from that minutes slapping. In an average setting, it's also common to see him standing in any spot, deciding on what to do. He's indecisive when it comes to the smallest things, often taking a good half an hour to decide on what he wants to eat for lunch. But at other times, Verrat is the most compulsive person you'll meet. Seeing something that tickles his interest is enough for him to get at it. Whether it's a last minute decision to go skydiving, deciding to eat a tablespoon full of wasabi, or even to buy a pet cat literally out of nowhere, he'll do it for the sake of his entertainment. And that translates into his fighting as well. Because when Verrat is in the heat of a battle? He gets reckless. He doesn't care about his own safety or health while in the midst of things. He'll run into an all out fist fight with the Darkness if it looked fun. People think Verrat is crazy when he does that. And they're somewhat right. However, they'd rather see him sucker-punch a Razor in the face with his bare hands than see him when he gets into his... fits. Occasionally people will see Verrat just... staring into space. It's during those times where people just need to leave him alone. When he gets distant like that, it's usually a bad idea to go up to him. It's one of the few times where Verrat isn't his usual cheery, happy-go-lucky, lazy, typical self. And it gets scary if it goes on for awhile. Nobody likes it when he's like that. Even him. the ability name oo Void control oo Passive usage oo This ability gives Verrat several little delicious perks. First and foremost, he is immune to Psychic attacks. Think of him as a Dark Type in Pokemon. Surrounded by a little sphere of nothingness that dissolves any psychic power that tries to touch him. Want to read his mind? Nope. Control his body? Nadda. Alter his thoughts and feelings? No way Jose. Attack him with little psychic... things? Ha! You wish! Nothing, repeat, NOTHING psychic affects him. At all. Though, this is a hindrance as well. If someone wants to communicate with someone telepathically over long distances, they better just have a cellphone. Someone wants to teleport with him from one place to another? He's walking. For the most part, he's just exactly what he calls his ability. A void. A little hole in space. No psychic weirdness can even think about touching him without being obliterated by his nothingness. name oo King Bee control oo Support, occurs naturally, can't exactly control it. usage oo Without even thinking of it, Verrat is able to release pheromones into the air around him. Currently, Verrat only releases these pheromones that coincide with his mood. If he's happy, he releases a pheromone that influences people to be more joyful. If he's angry, he releases some that tickle people's rage. If he's hurt or in danger, people will spontaneously want to help him. It's a pretty handy ability to have. Those who have stronger senses of smell, or those whose abilities deal with animals are more susceptible to his pheromones. And for the most part, nobody can really tell that his ability is even affecting them. They just feel more at ease around him, or angry when he is, or sad when he cries. If anything, they can just tell what mood he's in at that moment. name oo Knight of the Triangular Stand control oo Active, he has total and complete control over this ability. usage oo KTS allows Verrat to summon any type of bladed weapon and control it with ease. It's as easy as moving his own body, thinking of the blades as an extension of himself. While he can't make the weapons float in mid air or hurtle towards his opponents (unless he throws it), he is able to control the weapons. Use them with such finesse, grace, and ease that people around him believe that he was born with a knife in his hand. However, the blades ARE able to be summoned with a force behind them, so they technically can hurtle towards someone. But only when they're initially summoned. He can summon any variety of weapons. As long as it has a blade on it, they can appear before him all they want. Knives. Daggers. Scythes. Swords. Chained blades. A butterknife. Anything that has a sharp edge to it belongs to him. And he uses this ability to its fullest extent. In very, very creative ways. the history mother oo mira hensson, twenty six (at death), housewife father oo alphonse hensson, twenty eight (at death), business man/entrepreneur siblings oo rosa hensson, unborn (at death), daddy's little girl other important people oo gustav, two and a half (at death), pet bird. overall history oo Verrat Hensson was born into an average family, having an average childhood in an average house. His parents, Alphonse and Mira, both loved their son with all of their hearts, giving him whatever he wished for. Alphonse, being a businessman and a successful entrepreneur, was constantly on the move. And since he made enough income to support both his son and his beloved wife, they moved with him. By the time Verrat was five years old, they had already lived in eleven houses, all in different cities far from each other. Because Verrat wasn't able to keep a friend for long, the parents doted on him, hoping to scavenge a good childhood for their beloved boy. Gave him toys and gifts. Taught him morals and lessons. Made sure he understood, more than anything, that killing was wrong. Even if it was for revenge, ending another life was unforgivable. And for a while, it all worked out. Verrat was happy. His parents were doing fine. He even had his precious little bird, Gustav. The best pet anyone could ask for. Life was good. And then when he was ten years old, it all crashed to the ground. One day Verrat went to bed, happy and safe in their new home, comfortably settling into the life of an Agni citizen. And when he woke up? He was an orphan. The police suspected that it was a break in gone wrong. Even though they moved frequently, that didn't mean the Hensson's owned nothing of worth. Like any family, they had more than enough items of value to attract any thief. But something went wrong. And they both died. The policemen considered it a miracle that Verrat survived. Said he was lucky to be alive. Verrat didn't feel lucky. His parents, his mom and his dad, were gone. He would never see their smiling faces again. He was alone. All... all alone. Sent to the nearest orphanage, Verrat tried to get back into the swing of things, attempting to piece together as much of his usual routine as possible. But it was hard. Eventually he found his rhythm though, and flew through three more years at that place. The children and staff at the orphanage loved him, his likable personality making him shine. He couldn't throw a rock in the place without hitting a playmate. It was nice. He decided he could live like this for awhile longer. However, disaster struck once again for the poor boy. A wild pack of Razors smashed through the doors of his new home, slaughtering all in sight. Screaming filled his ears as he saw the children and staff he had come to know get sliced into ribbons before his very eyes. And just before it was his turn to fall, the Razors surrounding Verrat like a pack of starving, rabid wolves, Chasers flooded the scene. The Darkness fell. But it didn't help. All of his friends were killed. There were no more children. No more caretakers. Verrat was the last survivor. Again. The shock of that day froze the little boy, making him unable to move. And when the Chasers tried to comfort him, blades appeared out of nowhere, hurtling at them as they flew from nowhere. His final ability was awakened. The Chasers recognized that he was gifted, just like them. And so they took him back to the academy and enrolled him. Apparently, because of his Void ability, no one was able to tell that he had Awakened as a Gifted. No one could sense him, even if they tried. Newly enrolled into the Chaser Academy, it didn't take long for people to realize that Verrat was special. He improved with such an astonishing speed that it was undeniable. He was a genius when it came to fighting. To using his abilities. Within five short years, by the time Verrat was eighteen years old, he had graduated and became a Master Chaser. Now he lives his days shirking off the responsibilities of his title, wanting nothing more than to just travel like he did as a child. To be free. And to get away from Agni, the place where everyone he loved died. the role player ooc name oo Noxic is my name, don't wear it out~ though just Nox is perfectly fine. experience oo oh my. about seven or so years now. other characters oo none so far |
