No actions could've prevented the negative events that unfolded before the deity's very eyes. Cruel words reduced to flattery to his twin's ears, Luz didn't have a clue as to the actions he should take. His sister's hand came down to "comfortingly" pat him on the back, but this only furthered Luz's concerns. Red eyes trailing his sister, he watched as she fly from the ground, looking at the decoration that adorned the community hall. Silence was still hovering around Luz as Oscuro continued to speak. A small amount of anger stirred in Luz, but he already knew his words would do nothing about Oscuro. Each word seemed like taunting, but Luz ignored it, letting his sister continue speaking. His fists clenched tight at the mention of "livening up the party," since Luz could easily presume what would happen next.
Eyes gazing around the now darkness filled community hall, his face a mixture of anger and sadness. For moments, the god stood motionless as everyone lounged into battle, his power sensory reaching out to find out who needed protection and who may be capable to defend themselves. Only moments into the clatter of battle did Luz hear his sister's cackle. His eyes wandered back over to his where Oscuro was, his eyes and face seemingly emotionless. Despite the battle going on around him, Luz listened with open ears about Oscuro's darkness. "Yes, but there is a flaw in your renewable soldiers," Luz began, voice calm. "Where yours require your energy to be created, my chasers do not. Besides, we've taken constant beaten by your darkness, and yet we still stand here before you. In other words, fate may just turn the tables in my favor." Luz stated, his gaze drifting away from Oscuro and onto the darkness around.
Battles weren't Luz's idea of enjoyment, but when it involved other's safety and possible fatalities, he could be counted. Thus is started, Luz's eyes scanned around, looking for lurking darkness who'd yet to enter the fray of combat. His red eyes spotted a razor in the far corner, causing Luz to launch forward, his right hand becoming enveloped in light. The razor's head immediately looked in his direction, eyes having the intent to kill. However, as expected, killing a god was no easy task. With a high speed run, the razor rushed at Luz, but with the simply lift of his right, light shot out. The single shot of white light ripped through the darkness' arm with a sizzling noise. Halting, the razor threw its' head up in a high pitched screech, while the unperturbed deity sent out another shot of light, hitting square in the head. Luz glanced over his shoulder, back at his white-haired sister. "And where they may always be darkness, I will always be here to combat it for as long as people need me." Luz said, his answer sounding cheesy, but rather heroic.
