Usually, Sparrow can be seen wearing a white long-sleeve shirt that is undone at the top, with a black t-shirt showing underneath. Above all of that, he wears a blue vest with denim jeans. One can often see him carrying a pocket watch in the vest, with white socks and loafers covering his feet. However, his judgments on a situation can seem severe when dealing with serious actions like murder or theft. He is not without mercy, however, and tends to give people a choice to repent for their actions. On the darker side, Sparrow is very cold in combat and ruthless towards the Darkness in all actions. He has studied Darkness to his fullest capabilities, to the point where he knows their attack patterns and behaviors. Using his knowledge, he is frighteningly ahead in his thoughts, to the point where he can visualize several different situations and has a solution for each. Once captured, the target is completely at the mercy of Sparrow. However, there is a limited range on what he can control, and he must remain close enough to control it, or the threads will dissolve. Otherwise, most traditional weapons cannot sever his threads, and he can move his puppet any way he likes, even forcing them to levitate or fly. He has grown enough control to be able to manipulate four different targets at once, but any more puts a strain on his mind. Aside from controlling the target's actions, Sparrow can also use his threads to violently shred the target to pieces. He has a much harder time using this ability on actual living beings, mostly out of sympathy. The family's servants were treated as though they were blood relatives, and Sparrow welcomed their company. He often helped them around the house when he wasn't in his lessons, and his parents were proud to have raised a good child. Of course, there must be tragedy in one's life, or else it is merely a dream. One day, when Sparrow came home from school, he saw his entire house had burnt to the ground, with everyone that he loved inside. After the fire had been put out, it turns out that the Darkness had massacred his entire family. All of his extended family had died of a similar manner that same day, which left Sparrow as the only Wrightworth left. He didn't know what to do as the Darkness drew closer to him. He tried to run, but he couldn't move from the spot. Paralyzed in fear, he closed his eyes and awaited death. In that moment, a young man appeared and rescued him from the creatures. He introduced himself as Luz, and Sparrow was in awe. Unsure of what to say, the young boy collapsed in the next minute. Luz awaited Sparrow to wake up, and then began to explain what had happened. Sparrow's family, unbeknownst to him, had been a long line of hunters which killed Darkness. The young boy clutched his chest, feeling ashamed of the fear he had felt. Luz comforted him, saying that Sparrow could become strong enough to eliminate all Darkness and set things right. Comforted by this, Sparrow asked to join the Chaser Academy in order to grow strong enough to control all of the world.
