Walking through the viridian ocean, Lon had mixed feelings about the surroundings. One the one hand, he really enjoyed all of the trees, for the many options of playing with his teleporting abilities. On the other, there wasn't a great history with this forest for the young fox boy. As he let his feet sink gently into the grass and roots underneath him, he took a breath and closed his eyes, continuing to walk forward. With his ability to sense aura, he had been developing a second version of sight that he could use if necessary, aside from that, his hearing had become more sensitive with the addition of fox traits to his body.
As he opened his eyes again, he realized he had walked into a clearing. Not just any clearing, but the clearing where he had received all of...that. Lon had come here as a way of closure, in order to acknowledge his past and move on, but it was still really hard to be there. His body shook slightly in remembering the pain he had felt, his tail and ears drooping slightly. Then, the fear turned into rage and sorrow. Why did it have to happen to him? What had he done to deserve such pain and suffering. And then he stopped. Realizing that dwelling on the past would do him no good, he calmed down and worked on letting go.
Moving closer into the clearing, he could see the crescent moon in the sky, and so Lon reached for it. He wished he could move away from the Darkness and just be safe from pain. But that isn't what the world deserves, he thought as he kicked a twig near his foot. They deserve someone to help them, he continued, someone who will prevent them from feeling the pain that I did...
A rush of emotions surged through him as he finally began to let go; regret, anguish, discomfort, rage. He wept, remembering all of the pain, all of the hits and scratches and the attempted possession of his body. He never wanted anyone to feel that, and the Darkness were going to pay. They were going to pay with all they had, and Lon would not rest until their blood was all that was left of them. All of these thoughts and feelings fled as quickly as they came, but that doesn't mean it went unnoticed...
As he perked up his ears and wiped the tears away, he noticed more Darkness were coming. Looking at all of them, there had to be at least twenty. These monsters were drawn to negativity, and who better to use as bait than a former victim. As Lon saw all of these monsters, identical to the Darkness that attacked him that day, he paused for a moment. And then, he smiled and began to laugh. It was an unstable laugh, as this feeling of rage that had been bottled up so much from that day began to surface. Pretty soon, the fox boy was laughing maniacally with his face to the sky, and purple aura began to pulsate from the slender body.
The Darkness at this level were incapable of complex thought, and so all they saw was a young boy with emotions of anger and joy. This confused them slightly, as such emotions usually didn't coincide with one another. As Lon's maniacal laughter died down, the smile remained on his face and a look of determination came into his eyes. His fingernails grew sharper, as did his teeth, and the boy got into a stance that made him ready for any combatants.
It didn't matter either way... Lon was going to get them first.
The young boy dashed forward at four charging monsters, and quickly flashed behind them. With a grin, he slashed their backs open and gave a swift kick to their heads, his hands holding the boy up as his body spun around acrobatically. Flexing and extending his arm muscles, he did a handspring into a nearby tree branch and landed softly. Sixteen beasts remained, all surrounding the tree Lon stood in. Jumping down, he spun in the air in a compressed ball, extending forward as he neared the ground, smashing his weight into another beast and causing it to explode into Darkness blood. Flashing away, Lon landed on the other side of the clearing and taunted, "Hehehe~! That the best you have?!?"
Fortunately, the Darkness knew insults when they saw them, and screeched in anger at the boy. Without regard for self-preservation, five charged forward in a "V" formation. Getting ready, Lon leaned back and sprung forward with extreme force, flashing again in a diagonal fashion from behind the oncoming threat. His claws sprung, he lashed out with an open maw and tore three to shreds. "Oh, you are DEAD now! HAHAHA!"
The murderous rage had reached its climax inside Lon, and the boy became a combination of purple flashes around the clearing, and a continuous spray of dark blood flew around on the grass. No longer thinking of his safety, all he thought of was achieving vengeance for those who had suffered, including himself. After fifty more seconds, he had decimated all twenty monsters that had surrounded him. The boy, now panting with emotional fatigue, fell backwards in the center of the clearing. He was done. There wasn't anything holding him back anymore, and he felt renewed with that experience.
After such a murderous rampage, Lon covered his eyes with one arm and began to laugh and cry at the same time, letting out all of the anguish he suppressed, and the relief from his new-found freedom. After doing this for a few minutes, he relaxed and let himself rest underneath the moonlight.
