PEOPLE People were put into the world and have lived there for a long time. Argi was a great city created by Luz and loved by all. Then Oscuro decided to rain on their parade and the people went into a kind of bad place. They evolved and the Chasers showed up. People run the world while the gods are away.

H UMANS Humans are what you would expect. Squishy little bags of meat and bones. The town of Argi is infested with them. They showed up and stayed. Of course they might not be the worst species in Argi. They argue a lot and have different personalities.  G IFTED Gifted are much like humans, there are quite a lot of them. They have many different personalities, but what sets the two groups apart is the fact that Gifted have special abilities. These abilities allow them to do a great many things and they live their lives just like Humans do. C HASERS Chasers are basically humans. They are the protectors of the land. Very heroic, very brave. Chasers each have between one and three abilities that can range from super speed to breathing fire. They each go through a training process at the Academy and then go onto training with a mentor before finally becoming a full Chaser. Many Chasers chose to go out in packs to hunt Darkness, but there are a select few that go by themselves. Chasers have very good sight during the day, and aren't completely blind during the night, but they are more useful in the day. DARKNESS Darkness were created by Oscura to destroy humans. Oscura wanted to annoy her brother so she attacked what he loved, Argi and the humans. Although there are many different types of darkness they all follow a couple of rules. They all feed on and feel fear; if you are scared near one they will sense it and transform into your worst fears, varying slightly depending on what type. They all appear as shadows, dark and swirling voids in the shapes of your fears. They also all cause destruction, no matter what they do they will always destroy. P IPSQUEAKS A pipsqueak is the most common type of Darkness. Like their name entails they aren't very big and they aren't very strong. They were the first to arrive in Argi. They just kind of move things around and at worst they break things. When they take on the form of your fears it is only small. If you're scared of dogs then it might show up as a chihuahua. This is the easiest thing for the goddess Oscuro to summon, although she really only summons them to be a nuisance to the Chasers. T ROUBLEMAKERS The next level of Darkness is the Troublemaker. They aren't quite the worst kind, but they are worse than Pipsqueaks. Where are the worst thing that a Pipsqueak could do is break something a Troublemaker might rob somebody or frighten somebody or beat them up. After a while Pipsqueaks will turn into Troublemakers. They aren't too big and can't do too much on their own, but in large groups they can be deadly. B RUTES One of the final three forms of darkness is the Brutes. They grow from Troublemakers and where Troublemakers may break your bones, Brutes will just break you. They are stronger than all of the other Darkness and they could probably destroy them all if they were smart, but while they are the biggest and strongest they are also the dumbest and slowest. They are hard to kill if only because they can take so many hits. Although one blow from them could be the end for you. R AZORS The second of the final three stages of Darkness is the Razor. If you had a fear of dogs then this dog would be a greyhound, but instead of long legs it would have longs razors that could slice through skin with ease, thus the name. This is easily the fastest of the three finals. If you aren't watching your back then a Razor could run up behind you and skewer you, although even if you are watching your back that could still happen. S WARMERS The last of the Darkness is the Swarmers. They could easily be one of the most dangerous of the darkness, and they are definitely the most unlikely to come across, mainly because they take the most energy for Oscuro to summon. They are not stronger than the Brutes, and they are not faster than the Razors, but they are still strong, and they are still fast. The thing that makes Swarmers really dangerous is where they get their name from. They swarm. While they fight they can turn into a max of a hundred of themselves, and then back to one in the blink of an eye. One second you could be fighting two of the same Swarmer, and then three, and then seventy. They are only known to do this in a fight, but when they do they always go for the kill.
