As of hair, Grayson has a short mess of blond hair which is usually poking out in random places. His eyes are a pleasant green colour and some believe there is a mischievous gleam to them, however this doesn’t usually drive people away from them. Grayson is often seen as cute due to his soft features and lean muscles hidden beneath his clothing. He often spends time out and about, making his skin a fair colour. As of clothing, Grayson is often on the comfortable and casual side. His clothing is commonly clean and Grayson always takes caution to keep his clothing clean of the dust produced by darkness. When Grayson goes out to fight the creatures, he often wears darker colours in order to have the dust blend into the clothing. It’s common for Grayson to have one of his strange bowie knives or daggers on his person when he’s simply walking around. On a proper mission he would wear a cavalry sabre on his left side. Each of his weapons have small corridors in them along with a pin to prick this finger, this is to allow his blood to flow around the weapon. He then converts it to a the poison he wishes to use in order to toxicate opponents. Shallow cuts from these weapons sometimes don’t sink in enough to get a strong poison effect. He acts courteously and friendly towards other people, doing his best to make people smile and like him. This attitude makes him viewed as knightly and sometimes causes people to call him Prince Charming due to his pleasant behavior. To add to these knightly attitudes, Grayson is rather heroic in action and acts very honourable around other people. There is a cleverness to him, which leads to Grayson being very skillful in the act of persuasion. With plans, he can be creative and clever, however his creativity is often used in the art of drawing and writing. In order to get more artistic ideas, Grayson does adventurous acts which has made him very adaptable to certain situations. Competition has always been a love for Grayson, his determination causes him to play in whatever competition it is until the bitter end, win or lose. He’s stubborn to surrendering, unless if it’s the only tactical solution to aid in the current situation. When it comes to improving skills, Grayson is very ambitious with the idea since he enjoys expanding his abilities. He often perseveres to get what he wants, having a high sense of ambition to get what he desires. There are very few times when Grayson is rude, but it’s often in a sarcastic or teasing demeanor. At times he can be rather blunt about certain topics, which at times can make a few people uncomfortable. However these traits of kindness are usually used as a devious facade to his true emotions and personality traits since they are dark and twisted. One thing to make clear is that Grayson knows that he acts on the darker spectrum of personality. Where he may make himself out to be caring, Grayson is rather frivolous and abrasive towards the emotions of others. With his clever attitude, he prides himself in thinking that he’s a fraudulent criminal mastermind. Grayson is rather sadistic, often towards darkness, but he can have malicious thoughts towards everyone and everything. Whether he would display openly this malice is unlikely since he prefers people seeing him as a chivalrous knight. Grayson often finds that if he fails in sating his sadistic attitude, he gets destructive with some possessions, specifically his own. This is one of the reasons Grayson prefers to sadistically kill darkness. At times he has morbid or brutal thoughts that would disturb a plethora of audiences, thus his reason to lock such traits away completely. the ability toxikinesis oo Offensive/Defensive. High control. Grayson is able to create and manipulate various types of poisons. With manipulation poisonous liquids and remove poisonous substances from concoctions along with from another creature’s blood stream. He has best control over poisonous liquids, second would be various dust-like poisons. On rare occasions, Grayson can control poisonous plants, but this takes a lot of energy and can usually be performed in states of high emotional stress. For poison creation Grayson must convert his own blood into the toxic substance, which often involves him cutting himself to extract the poison roaming in veins. All blood that gets transformed into poison can not be reverted, which forces Grayson to be cautious with his creation, he can also only convert his blood. Thankfully, Grayson’s toxikinesis also makes him immune to poison and with an AB blood type he’s able to have his blood transfused with many other types. Once the blood cells circuit around his veins, they automatically take on the same properties that his other blood cells have. As of what he can control exactly it would be the definition of poison, which is any substance that kills, injuries or impairs the human body. This can range from toxins, tranquilizers and even the poison within alcohol, however the higher strength of the poison the more energy he must use. To control a poisonous substance it must be close to his hands and outside of any containers. Unfortunately, Grayson rarely carries any poison on hand which forces him to convert his own blood with takes more energy than manipulation. This gift is very demanding with energy and focus that it forbids Grayson from using it while using his more defensive abilities. All of Grayson’s poisons need to enter the body via a cut or digestion, they also often need a few cuts before the toxins act well. All toxins under Grayson’s control usually act very slowly, even toxins that will usually act faster. It’s believed this is a side effect of Grayson meddling with the poison in order to manipulate it. wing maker oo Defensive/Passive. Medium control. This ability allows Grayson to create artificial wings that he can use to fly. His wings often look like strange shadowy figments that some people may believe are an illusion to some. Unfortunately he lacks good control of this ability and can usually only use it for an hour or two at most. He’s also able to grant wings to other people, but this shortens the duration of which it will function and remain. The wings disappear when the duration is up or if Grayson stops using the ability/is knocked unconscious. Can’t be used with Toxikinesis. cloaking oo Defensive/Passive. High control. Grayson has a stronger branch of invisibility that allows him to disappear completely off radar. Nobody can sense him when he is cloaked, but there is one major flaw to this ability. Grayson isn’t untouchable, which means if someone were to send an attack his way, it can hit him. Once he’s hit, his cloaking disappears and Grayson is visible again. While Grayson is cloaked, he’s s unable to use his Toxikinesis, but Wing Maker will still work. However using Wing Maker and Cloaking at the same time usually shortens the duration of both abilities to about half. Grayson can also makes items and other people disappear. Strangely, Grayson is unable to harm others in his cloaking state. Since Lucian, Grayson’s father, could take his work home on most days he often did so in order to watch his son. However Lucian’s way of dealing with his son was certainly questionable, especially when Grayson turned three. If Grayson was to do anything that warranted punishment or was simply too loud he would lock Grayson in a closet until everything related with work was finished. Despite how much Grayson cried, his father didn’t budge and kept him in the small space for long periods of time. Eventually this caused the boy to become rather claustrophobic and often resist the punishment that was pure terror to him. For three more years this happened, his mother being highly busy and his father cautious as ever to hide how he punished the boy. For years, Grayson’s mother had no clue why he was to terrified of small spaces. However the time came when his father’s thirty-sixth birthday came along and Quinn decided she wanted to surprise her husband this time, and thus the mother got home early. When she heard bawling, Quinn had ran passed Lucian who was trying to distract and found her son crying in the closet. Grayson was set free from the closet while his parents began to yell at one another, which ended with the slamming of doors and Grayson in his room. About a month later, Quinn and Lucian divorced, Quinn gaining complete custody of her son along with no visitation rights for the father. The mother and son duo moved into an apartment in another part of Argi only a few days later. Three more months and Quinn began dating a man who went by Robert Zyer, a man who had a daughter who went by Scarlet. For one year the children were placed together under the care of a babysitter while their parents went on dates. Soon after the year of dates, Robert and Quinn moved in together, making a pleasant family that Grayson enjoyed. When Grayson was eight and Scarlet was ten, Robert and Quinn got married and Grayson and her mother took up the West name. Once married to Robert, Quinn quit being a scientist and opted to be an secretary instead. After two years, Quinn got bitten by a toxic snake that had escaped from its owner’s cage during the summer, the hemotoxin travelling through her bloodstream. A scream from his mother had caused Grayson to bold out the door, the ten-year-old easily getting frightened from the ordeal. However this was the time when Grayson discovered his toxikinesis, and with a lot of luck he removed the poison completely from his mother’s blood. To be cautious, Robert took Quinn to the hospital where they discovered that the venom in her blood was completely gone. This was also the time when Grayson’s mind seemed to twist just a little bit, and with darkness hovering around the city it only became worse. In order to fill these new twisted tests with his ability, the boy who was only ten would lead pipsqueaks into the shed and kill them with the use of rat poison which he smashed into a fine powder. His parents had no clue of the sadistic activities taking place in the shed nor would they with how their son acted. When Grayson was in front of his parents, he acted like a normal ten-year-old boy that had simply done nothing wrong. Months later Grayson turned eleven and learned about his wing maker ability and began doing different tests with this new skill. His curiosity over his abilities lead to various discoveries about his capabilities involving his gifts. The strange and menacing look to the artificial wings drew up concern from his parents, but they eventually adjusted to the eerie fakes when they were summoned. However wing maker was the most difficult of the three he would gain, and thus the first few practice tests involved a lot of crashing. Remaining diligent in the matter, Grayson eventually learned how to use wing maker to a decent level. At the age of fourteen he began to learn about his cloaking ability, which was a lot easier to master over all of his others. It was also around this time when Grayson became more fraudulent in his thoughts, his interests turning to looking over criminal cases and pointing out various mistakes. He thought about how he could get away with crimes, but was never daring enough to actually commit one. Over the next two years, Grayson’s sadistic behavior towards darkness continued, but never once did he kill a human soul. His parents allowed him to enroll in Chaser Academy, where he became a popular student for his charm and charisma. This earned him the title Prince Charming among the other students.
