Searching for the Queen of Darkenss (OPEN)

[Dream Wolf]

Fang was in the mines. He wanted to find Oscuro, and this was his best bet. He made his way into the deepr depths of the mine. He could sense Darkness everywhere, but had yet to run into any. He turned a corner and ran face first into a wall of wood. It was so dark he hadn't seen it.


"Damn it." he growled, deep in his throat. He started ripping the boards out of their anchors, determined to get beyond them. On the other side he found a skeleton, half crushed by a boulder of almost pure iron. It would have been almost impossible for a normal group of humans to move so much metal. Fang just melted it away, using it to make armor for himself. He knelt beside the skeleton. "Rest well, human, I hope you died quickly."

[Cyn]

"He didn't. I made sure of that." Oscuro stated lazily as she floated into the area of the mines that this human was wondering in. She glared at him and looked him up and down. Everything about this human was effectively annoying, but there was something odd about them too. The goddess couldn't quite place a finger on what it was that didn't seem quite the same as everything else. Still it didn't quite matter. She waved a hand in the air and summoned a large ball of shadows to herself.

"You have a limited amount of time to tell me why you are here before you experience the same fate that they did." The white haired goddess wasn't a big fan of humans and it seemed that rumours were spreading about her having a residency in the mines. More humans, mainly her brother's chasers, were coming into the mines looking for her and it was getting on every one of her very few nerves.

Fang looked at her and grinned madly. "You really are in here, that is good. My name if Fang, I am Darkness. Ten years ago, a little boy with the ability to absorb the energy of those around Absorbed a pipsqueak, then seven years later, a Razor. I was created and then empowered by this. It took me years, but I now have control of this body, and wish to serve you, as I was originally created to do. I am the result a human having darkness inside them, real Darkness, not that philosophical crap they are always going on about."

He leaned against the wall. He acted like he was fine, in truth, he was terrified she would kill him anyway.

[Cyn]

Oscura listened to the human talk, but it seemed that there was more to them than just a human. It also seemed that he wanted to be in leagues with her. She scoffed. "You fail to realize that no matter how much Darkness you have absorbed and are made up of you are still human at your core. Needless to say I'm not a big fan of humans." She was more likely to open him up and see what made him tick than she was to let him be around her for more than a minute. So she got ready to kill him sighing at the idea of getting her hands dirty and honestly considering just summoning a hoard of Darkness to just finish him off.

Then another thought came to the goddess. The only thing she hated more than humans was her brother and here was a human with Darkness components completely willing to surve her. Her glare turned into a predatory smile. It was a wonderful idea if she wanted to destroy her brother's pride. To imagine that one of his humans would come to team up with her was unheard of. She held out the hand without the shadows forming around it. "Hold on." She stated, venom dripping from a now sickly sweet tone. In a few seconds the darkness ball that she had been gathering was slammed into the rock floor. In a minuscule amount of time the ground crumbled and the goddess was left floating. If the human had grabbed her hand then he would be hanging below her, if not then he would be dead. She had to make sure he was able to survive, so this was her idea. She didn't really care what he did to accomplish the survival, she just didn't want to let somebody who would die at the drop of a hat hang around her. She also wanted to throw off his stupid composure.

Fang was expecting something, just not the whole floor falling out from under him. Thankfully there was plenty of ore in the surrounding rock. Fang was not someone to rely anyone else for much of anything. He made a cable out of iron and attacked it to the wall, catching himself.

"Well that was interesting." His tone was calm but his heart was racing. Fang feared death, because unlike other Darkness, he could actually die. He sighed as he realized his energy was low and reached out with absorb. He found a couple of Brutes near enough and powerful enough to give him the energy he needed. He puled from them until they dispersed. "I apologize for taking from your servants, but I needed that energy to continue."

He formed spiked boots and gloves from the iron and clung to the wall. "If we could stop the tests now, since I am sure that's what you are doing, I would like to return the years of confinement and ridicule I faced as a personality trapped in a damn good two shoes little chaser boy. The best way to do that is to cause that brat of a god as much trouble as possible. Way of light my backside."

[Cyn]

When she made the floor fall out from under them Oscuro hadn't been sure what to expect. She had kind of hoped that the human would fall to their death and she wouldn't have to deal with him, but they survived by taking the iron of the walls and clinging to them. She could feel him kill her Darkness by absorbing their energy. She didn't really care enough about the things to care that he had killed a few of them. She had killed enough of them herself that it didn't really matter. She could always just make more. She watched the boy create gloves and boots and cling to the wall. He seemed more scared than he wanted to admit. He also seemed like he might be trying to show off a little. Oscuro crossed her legs and lay back in the air like she was reclining in a chair.

"Isn't that just the dream. Make my brother and his chaser's pay for whatever hardship you have against them, should be just peachy. Do you have a plan for this or did you think you'd just come here and make me do everything?" Oscuro raised an eyebrow and waited for the human to answer. She assumed that the fear she might be sensing was because he was still human. No matter how much Darkness was in him there was always that. He was still human and humans could die. That meant that she could kill him. It seemed that he was able to survive well enough so it might not be too easy to kill him if she needed to, but it was definitley possible.

Fang looked at her. "It's not a dream its a passion. Because of humans I was isolated, treated like a monster even though I had done no wrong. So if they want me to be a monster, so be it, I will make their nightmares reality. My plan is to use my knowledge of the City's tunnels to get a force of Darkness right at the Chaser Academy's doors, without losing any before the fight begins. Then we will go through the academy like butchers at a farm. Those morons won't know what hit them."

He found a shelf to stand on and placed his hands on his hips. "If they thought it was bad that I existed, just think how much they will suffer, knowing that I used the knowledge they gave to my human counterpart to launch this assault. And the look on that pathetic Gods face when he sees all those dead chaser students."

Fangs eyes darkened to a shade of green that almost glowed with a light of its own, his hatred palpable in the air. "I will make them all suffer as they made me suffer. I may even take a few prisoners, just so I can have some extra fun."

[Cyn]

Oscuro listened to the human explain his plan. He was very passionate about what he was speaking on. Oscuro wasn't a big fan of all is fury, but at least she knew that he wasn't pretending. She also like his plan. She didn't know much about her brother's city since she tried not to go there unless it was absolutely necessary. She's make an exception for this plan. She'd love to see her twin's face when she stormed his school and killed a couple of his chasers to be. She didn't really care what the human did. He could kill whoever he wanted as long as she got to mess with Luz.

"Okay good plan kid. I'm on board. Attack the school, you can do whatever you want with them and I'll get to piss off my brother. Sounds fun." She stated. Oscura just sounded kind of bored with everything he was saying, despite finding it quite interesting. The only time she really showed much emotion was to make people mad or scared. Right now she wanted to do neither. "we're you ever planning on telling me your name? Did you expect me to guess it?" she asked him. The goddess decided that if she was going to enact a plan with this human she might as well learn his name, even if she did forget it later.

Fang glanced at her. He was not trusting her, that would be stupid. As far as he was concerned she was a means to an end.

"My name is Fang." He sat down, his iron boots clanking. He pulled out his cell phone and checked for reception. Nothing. "Huh can't gloat now, can I?"

He stood again after a bit a looked at a pair of Razors that were just visible in the shadows. "I've always wondered. Do Darkness truly have thoughts? Or just orders?"

[Cyn]

So the boy's name was Fang. That seemed fitting considering that he was made up of some Darkness. She watched him check his phone. It was one of those human things she had never really understood. She didn't have people she needed to get in contact with via a cellphone, nor did she see the reason for something like it. The goddess simply shrugged the devices off as a strange human thing.

When Fang asked the question she turned to look at the Razors. She crossed her arms and floated down and landed next to the beings. "Of course they have their own thoughts. Me making Darkness is like Luz creating humans, they have their own thoughts, not matter how much I try to stop that from happening. The difference is that they are more suseptable to orders. As long as you know how to talk to them you can control them. The problem is most people don't know how to talk to them." She explained. Oscuro made a small motion and the two razors darted away from her. There were dozens more darkness in the immediate area that she could call over if she really cared to, but she preferred to just spawn them and send them off with the order to attack and destroy things.

That she answered his question was surprising enough, that the answer was so simple, that would have been down right shocking if he hadn't suspected it for a long time.

"So it just comes down to how you order them about huh...Should be easy enough. I know what makes me want to respond to someone, and I bet I get that from my Darkness." He placed his hand on the wall and pulled a gem stone from it. The stone was dirty and of poor quality, and he wasn't sure what kind it was, but, it had an interesting shimmer to it in the few places it showed though.

He looked at the Goddess. "Pretty interesting how Darkness has anything similar to humans in them. I've heard rumors though, from telepaths. They say the minds of Darkness are like oil to their water. So that means Darkness think in ways that are completely different to humans, but they do think. I'm guessing that with age they become more intelligent, which would explain why the Darkness you have just created are so easy to defeat compared to the ones that have been in the wilds, growing."

[Cyn]

As the goddess listened to the boy mull over what she had just said she found that he was quite annoying. It was to be expected considering how he was part human. She didn't understand how Luz could find those things endearing. Either way she stuck through it and in the end she shrugged. "I suppose you could say that. Of course my Darkness, even the young one are much stronger than, the, uh, the small humans. The ones who cry. My Darkness are much stronger than those." She stated. She had forgotten the name for babies, but that seemed unimportant to her. Humans had so many names for every little thing.

Oscuro sighed and looked around. This was a much more boring encounter than she had hoped it would be. When a human just went wandering around where she liked to hang around she preferred to kill them and get it over with, now here she was being civil. She began pulling shadows from the air and stretching them between her fingers like they were strings. "So. Fang. Was there anything else you wanted to chit chat about or was that it?" She asked as she played with the shadow strings. Right now all they had talked about was a plan and how Darkness worked. That was enough socializing her in one day, but who knew what the human kid wanted?

Fang could tell she was getting annoyed. That had been his plan. He was tempted to push her limits, but that would not be wise.

"That is sufficient for the time being. Now that I know its just a matter of how you do it, I think I can figure it out for myself." He threw a mock salute. "Good talk Schen Mau Sui"

He spoke the words flippantly, they were Dream's father's families ancient language, the words meant 'Great Shadow Lady'. He started to walk away and laughed as he realized his vengeance would soon come to be. On ALL who had wronged him.

[Cyn]

It seemed that the boy was done now. He said a few thing, gave her a mock salute and then said a few more words, some of which were in a language she didn't speak. She watched him walk away and sighed. Working with humans was exhausting. And to think that she was going to have to kill him at some point. Oscuro had already told him enough to warrant wanting him dead, so right now she was planning on going through with his plan and maybe putting in a little extra effort to make sure he died during the invasion on the academy. She shrugged and went about her business, which mostly consisted of creating new darkness and prepping for the new way to annoy her brother.
