As Cassandra explained into further detail her dismay for being called a vampire, Raeyhn understood more why it wasn't something that could just be laughed off. Not to mention, it seemed these people were going particularly out of their way to cause emotional harm to her. That was highly frustrating. She could see the want to punish them badly. To say something like 'I'll show you a vampire' and then wham. Doing something harmful, if only so they could feel what it felt like to be hurt.

It was interesting though, that Cassy's sword skills would gain her friends. Certainly it was more than just her skill. Her beauty and grace had to be factors as well. Or maybe it was fear turning into power. Even a little bit of both. People swooned at the sight of this girl, and fell over themselves to do things for her. Raeyhn was no stranger to receiving attention like this either, though she never payed much attention in return so people just got tired of her eventually.

The happiness returned to Cassandra's face as she began to talk about how the people scurried around. She seemed to hold a real smile on her face, which made Raeyhn smile, though she was a bit confused as to what could cause a smile in that moment. Maybe she liked seeing people squirm, or maybe she enjoyed being in charge now after the way she was treated. Or maybe she was in to s&m and she was very much an s.... Really it was too early to tell, and definitely too early to ask such intimate questions."Well, I do have to say, watching you with a sword is amazing, practically orgasmic. I mean, you move with such grace it's like watching a piece of artwork being created. I can only hope to be as good as that someday." Raeyhn brushed her hair over her shoulder as she complimented the other girl, her pale blue eyes staring intently with interest at the girl before her.

Cassy flushed a bit at the word orgasmic, she was psycho-sexual, but she was still a virgin and fairly innocent in that mind of things. Sure she had her fantasies, but she was by no means a full on pervert. Of course this girl was very attractive and had power, a power similar to Dream and Fang's.

Perhaps I should add her to my collection... The thought was there, and it brought a small smile to her lips. "Thank you. I strive to be the best, since you can't trap a good man, or woman, without some bait."

She twirled the swords she was holding and tossed them in the air, catching them as they fell. She couldn't help showing off, she wanted to impress this girl, if only because the idea of conquest set her on edge and excited her.

As Cassandra grew silent, Raeyhn wondered if she should have re-thought her word choice. Really, she was just being playful and flirty, but maybe it was too much. Great. Maybe her brother was rubbing off on her. She was always telling him to take a step back and think about things before you say them, but really she should practice what she preaches. After all, saying exactly what she was thinking had gotten her into trouble before. That was why she tried so hard to maintain her lady-like manners.

Cassy broke the silence though with a remark on how she strives to be the best, to attract good men and women. Raeyhn nodded her head in understanding, "Really, though. These days you need to put on a show, otherwise the good ones get away." She watched as Cassandra did some minor sword tricks, possibly as a show, which really Raeyhn didn't mind in the least.

It was actually so unexpected even meeting Cassy. Raeyhn had just been bored and wandering around the normal school with nothing to do, and then she happens upon this beauty. This beauty, who also happened to have quite the reputation about sword arts, about her. Someone she could actual learn something useful from, but also gained a friend with looks who surpassed her own. At least in her own opinion. After all, beauty, cuteness and over all aesthetic appeal was important to a girl like Raeyhn.

Raeyhn began to wonder though, what kind of person Cassandra really was. It was obvious who she was outwardly toward others most of the time, herself included, but those small wavers in her smile that Raeyhn had witnessed... They proved that something else was probably going on under there. There was more to this girl than met the eye, and that was what appealed the most to Raeyhn. The excitement of getting to know her better, or to peel back the layers and discover who she really was.

"I'm sorry I don't know more about you, really... " Raeyhn admitted, her icy blues meeting the gaze of Cassandra's own slate blue eyes. She continued and added, "I would love to get to know more of you." The more Raeyhn stared, the more she realized just how young the girl looked, despite being quite a bit taller than Raeyhn herself. She was very pretty, and probably still developing - not that Raeyhn intended to be thinking such things right now.

Cassy looked at this girl, who was so pretty, and seemed so nice. It was such a pain that most Chasers were really nice people, made it really hard to be jealous. Cassy let out an inward sigh, she knew she was unstable, and that if anyone found out what she really thought she would likely end up locked away. Especially with her plans for Fang's liberation. If ANYONE found out...She really did try to be nice though, and she really did try to be honest with people, mostly, since if she ever got caught in a lie it would make people hate her and that was her biggest fear.

"We could head to my family's home...Maybe Dream will be home and can show you some of his tricks. Doubtful though, he's getting ready for some stupid Valentines party..." That really pissed her off. Dream who had told her just a few months ago he only liked her as a sister and that he wasn't ready for anything more than that with ANYONE...Now he had fallen for someone who wasn't even a girl all the time?! Her eyes darkened a bit with anger, but Dream had his reasons for everything. His mother had told them both Love never came with a warning, just reached out and slapped you in the face...

At the mention of going to her home, Raeyhn perked up. It would be interesting to see where Cassandra lived, what kind of stuff she had there.... But then she went on to mention a party that Dream was apparently having. She referred to it as stupid, which Raeyhn had to wonder why. In this case, curiosity got the better of her. "You don't like Valentine's Day?" That was naturally her first guess, because most people who referred to Valentine's Day as stupid usually had an issue with the holiday as a whole.

The girl's expression changed a little and Raeyhn changed her mind. She wondered if maybe there was something more to this story. Well, she wouldn't provoke right now. Cassy's expression looked less than pleased and she didn't want to make it any worse than it already was. "I would love to go to your place." Raeyhn responded, bringing the conversation back to the topic at hand. Besides, going to her own home would maybe make Cassandra more comfortable, and possibly act more naturally instead of her smile.

Cassy sighed when asked if she didn't like Valentines day. "The guy I like, he only sees me as a sister, and said he wasn't ready for love. He always hated Valentines Day, now suddenly he's in love and wants to celebrate it....Not something I like to think about..." She locked the weapons locker.

She nodded and headed towards the door that went from the gym to the outside. "Lets go, I have some books on Blood Forge's, you can read those too, borrow them if you like. But we have to take the back doors, can't let people see me heading off with someone I just met. It would be bad for my image."

When they reached Cassy's house, it was revealed her family was fairly well off. The house was big, and the front garden had very exotic flowers growing in it, though they were dormant for the winter. Cassy opened the front door, and anyone not experienced with rich homes would have expected there to be servants, but, Cassy's parents both believed one should work for ones self.

Raeyhn felt very sad for Cassandra at the mention of her crush not returning the feelings. Unrequited love was a shitty thing to experience, for anyone, especially someone she could see herself becoming good friends with. Well, as far as Raeyhn was concerned that guy was stupid and blind. If he couldn't accept feelings from someone as lovely as Cassy, then he didn't deserve her anyway. "I can see why you wouldn't like Valentine's Day in that case." It was the only words Raeyhn could think to say. After all, she hadn't been in love yet as far as she knew. Sure she had intense infatuations, but nothing she would consider love.

Cassandra mentioned not wanting to dwell on the subject, so when she brought up books that Rae would be able to borrow from her, she quickly went with the subject change. "Really? That would be great! Thanks!" Raeyhn excitedly exclaimed before laughing a little at the remark about needing to leave secretly. Raeyhn didn't quite understand how being seen with someone you've just met would tarnish a reputation, but she didn't argue the logic. Maybe there was some weird rule about it, or maybe Cassandra had some kind of rumor about her that would make it weird. Whatever the reason, no matter, Raeyhn would follow her in which ever manner of fashion Cassy had decided on. After all, she was the one doing the girl a favor.

Upon reaching Cassandra's house it became obvious her family was well off, though Raeyhn quite expected it. The home reminded her of her own since her father had bought a large place for her mother and herself, that man was always buying his families. After entering though, she was surprised that she didn't immediately see any servants. Her own home had 5 and they each had specific jobs. Her mom hated them though, since she went from working independent woman to sudden stay at home mom with a man providing everything she needed. Her mom had still not really adjusted to it, though Raeyhn was more than fine with the royal treatment. "Nice house." She commented, wanting to say something after being invited here as a guest.

Cassy nodded at the compliment. "It's a gift really, our family has been Chasers since the beginning, in fact I'm the first not to develop powers ever." She headed for her room, third floor, eastern most room in the house on that floor. In the room were swords, halberds, and even wooden bows hanging on the walls. Every single one of them was sharp and ready to use.

Cassy walked over to a bookshelf and pulled down a book that seemed to be bound with leather. "This is the Hemo-pedia, everything about blood and its uses is in here, including whole chapters on Hemokinesis. It's over three hundred years old so please be careful, it is my most prized possession. It was given to me by a self proclaimed witch."

As Cassandra mentioned that the house was a gift, Raeyhn seemed intrigued. Her house was bought by her father who worked to get the money, though it came quite easily to their family now. She did note though, that Cassy mentioned being the first person to not get any powers. So this girl wasn't gifted or a chaser. Raeyhn wondered what that how that was for her growing up. After all, her entire family was chasers and she couldn't be, it seemed like it would be hard to cope. "Maybe you're just a late bloomer?" Raeyhn tried to comfort the girl, not that the girl particularly wanted her comforting.

Thankfully, they reached their destination and Cassandra handed her the book explaining what it was and how she got it. Raeyhn nodded dutifully as she took the book, "I'll be sure to take extra good care of it." Clutching the book to her chest, Raeyhn couldn't help but look around even more now. It was interesting to see all the weaponry that was on display.

"You must be so comfortable around weapons. I imagine you can use just about any of them?" She mentioned, admiring the craftsmanship of each one she looked at. "That's pretty much a power in itself." She remarked, running her finger along a blade. Turning to look at Cassandra again Raeyhn smiled, "Have you ever had to kill anything?" Raeyhn didn't take Cassy the type to sit around and do nothing. She was certain that she would be able to fight based on her skill alone. She was interested to know if the girl had actually fought anything.

"I can use almost any weapon, the exceptions being Chakram and Great Swords like Claymores. Chakram are hard to use effectively so I never bothered to learn, and Claymores and the like weigh as much as I do sometimes, so I try to avoid them, I'm not like Fae Wolf, with her Super human strength able to swing a thirty pound sword like its a half pound dagger..."

Cassy was thrown off by the question about killing, not many people bothered to ask such a question, since she wasn't a chaser she must not have killed then should she? "I have killed two humans and four darkness. The Darkness attacked me while I was walking home from school, just a bunch of trouble makers so it was easy, but the humans...men don't take it well when they lose a sword fighting competition to a girl like me. I had to defend myself..."

The fact was she had felt nothing about killing those men, it had been as simple as cutting veggies for dinner, no emotion what so ever. So she knew she was bad off, but not as bad off as others, who felt joy and sexual desire for the sight of blood and gore.

Raeyhn listened as Cassy explained what type of weapons she could and couldn't use. The thing about claymores made a lot of sense since Cassandra wasn't a particularly large person. Raeyhn imagine trying to lift and swing a huge heavy sword herself, and it made her giggle a little. It was an interesting thing to picture. A petite woman trying to swing something so large around, especially one so girly like herself.

She stopped thinking about it when Cassandra started answering her second question. Hearing that she killed darkness was fairly unsurprising, but hearing that she had killed humans came as a bit of a shock. When she explained the reasoning though, Raeyhn nodded in understanding. It made sense if it was self defense. No one could hardly blame the victim for protecting themself. Especially with a skill like Cassy's. She was certain many a emasculated man tried to go after her.

"That explains why you don't get weirded out by my power... I mean besides the fact your friend has the same thing." Raeyhn was used to being around people who got grossed out that she needed to wound herself or someone else in order to use her power. Her own brother thought it was pretty gross. So someone like Cassandra, who embraced it, maybe even admired it, was refreshing. Not to mention she was extra helpful in the department thanks to having a friend with the same ability. She'd have to ask to meet him sometime.

Cassy looked at her and smiled another true smile, though this one was sad. "I'm not weirded out by your power because blood is the most important part of my life, the person who treated me best in my whole life has that power, and without the specially prepared blood I drink everyday, I would die. To me, having power over blood, instead of blood holding power over you, that is the most amazing thing I can think of."

Cassy pulled another book, this one a simple journal looking affair. "This has all of Dream's notes on how to manipulate blood, and the things it can do. To be wholly honest, he't not very powerful with it because he rarely practices, but Fang apparently has excellent control of it. If I get the chance, I'll introduce you to them, I think you could help each other."

Cassy offered a smile that gave a glimpse into her true self for a fleeting second. "But don't try to steal them from me or you might die." The words, while toned as a joke, were said with eyes that revealed it was not entirely so.

As Cassandra mentioned not being phased by Raeyhn's power and why the girl smiled. She supposed she hadn't thought of it that way. Well, to be fair she had only just learned of Cassy's condition, but really it was a sentimental thought. Especially about her friend who treated her the best. She was glad her power could be associated with someone she thought of fondly.

As she offered another book with notes and stuff from her friend with the same power, Raeyhn looked impressed by it, and grateful to Cassy. Then she mentioned possibly introducing her to him and Raeyhn nodded, "Oh that would be great!" She started before Cassy continued on about not trying to steal them away from her. Raeyhn couldn't tell entirely if it was a joke or not, but she decided to laugh it off. "I would never!" She shook her head, but then gave a wink, "Though I make no promises about not stealing you from them." Raeyhn's tone was also joking, but highly flirtatious.

Cassy sat down on her bed with a grunt that did not fit her lady like appearance. "You can try, but you might want to be careful, I may just add you to my collection."

Her gaze went sideways and was sly. "You are certainly worthy of it. I have no issue admitting to you that my goal is to surround myself with beautiful and talented people, since you seem to be of a similar mind. I could see us being good friends."

Of course that wasn't so much a 'seeing' thing it was more of a hoping thing. She giggled though, which was something she did when nervous or excited. "You know its funny. Besides Dream and Roxxanne I've never had anyone in my room. You are actually the first person I've ever brought home who didn't know me from before. I guess its because you were following me around and interested in me before you knew who I was."



(((OOC: to make sure you see this without the pain of making a PM. Cassy isn't going to lose her memories when she casts the spell to save Fang and Dream, she will be severely weakened and be in a wheelchair for a while but will recover. This allows for us to continue this plottage after XD)))
