Kristina smiled at Candy but was surprised by the warning of the friend being bi. "Well if she flirts with everybody I won't be bothered." She answered back unsure on how true that would be or not, though she would fight any urges that arose if it did start to bother her to avoid causing any unwanted attention. She watched when Candy sent a text message to Max, smiling when she saw what she had wrote. "I hope so." Then they paused in front of a small shop and she sighed when she saw the flower. "Thanks Candy. I'll have to wear it around Isidore just to see how he reacts." She takes the flower in her hand and smiles when she sees the other one that is for Max. "We better head to the mall, since that is where we plan on meeting them." She was unaware that Max had written Candy back but when they got to the mall she saw somebody coming towards them. Kristina felt like it was safe to say that was likely to be Max. Hey that is the person that Garrett got a cell phone cover for... She thought to herself. "Nope you came just in time." Kristina answered back taking Max's hand in hers to shake it. "I'm Kristina." She thought long and hard, "This is our first meeting. Though I think I might have seen you had the party." She paused, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Though as to avoid talking much about the party she added, "Hey Candy have you had a chance to see my brothers cell phone covers yet?" If Candy had seen them, she would know Nicholas had one of her and Garrett had one of Max. "Before Dream took us to the store to get cell phones, I have two brothers who picked cell phone covers, one of Candy and one of you Max." She took out her phone and showed them it, she didn't know but it was of Alana, she had a brief comment with her before all hell broke loose and she had fled. "My brothers are keeping Dream entertained." She explained, not sure if she really cared to go into detail as of why they were all at Candy's home.

[Candy Green]

Candy grinned at Max as they came up. "I see you're more boy today, but that's okay, you're Max, and Dream likes you, and that's important. So we are headed to the Boutique , we will get hair cuts, scalp massages and skin treatment, then we'll have our nails trimmed cleaned and buffed, polish for those who want it of course. Then we are getting clothing. Nothing fancy or formal, but definitely something that will draw attention!"

Candy was dressed like she had lost yet another fight with her closet, but Belle would fix her up right, because, well, Belle had a sense of style, whereas Candy was possessed of apparent colorblindness...

"Okay so we're off!" Candy led the way to the Boutique where the three of them were met by Annabelle Gregory, a woman dressed in nothing more than a simple black dress and smock, yet somehow seemed to be elegant and beautiful.

"Candy, you look like you were dressed by a color blind monkey, as usual. Since you have some people with you I assume your here for the standard?" The woman smiled at Kris and Max, in a flirty and sensual way.

"Belle, take it easy, these are my little Dream's friends, and if you scare them off I'll never come to see you again." Candy smiled at her friend, but the tone said she wasn't kidding.

Max burned Kristina's name to memory by repeating it in their head over and over again. If Kristina and Candy were friends with Dream then they were obviously nice people so Max was going to make an effort to become their friends too. Max listened to Kris as she began talking about cell phone covers. Max's phone was just a plain black case, but it seemed that Kristina had different one. When she mentioned one of her brothers had a case with them on it Max laughed. "I didn't even know they made cases with me on them. I hope it's at least a good photo of me." Max walked beside Kristina as they all walked to the mall for, as Candy described, hair cuts, scalp massages, and skin treatments. Max was up for all that. They were also up for getting their nails done. Kris held up her phone and Max noticed the chaser on it imidiately. "Hey that's Alana! She's my partner." Max chuckled. Alana would definitely be hearing about this.

When the three of them arrived at the Boutique a woman in a black dress came out to meet them. She looked really professional to say the least. Max laughed when the older woman smiled at them and Kris in a way that almost seemed flirty. Max was tempted to do something goody and flirt back, but the woman was at least seven years older than them, so flirting was out of the option. Instead they just laughed. They reached up and scratched the back of their neck. They wondered what kind of haircut they wanted. Really Max was game for anything. Usually they didn't have much upkeep with their hair so something low maintenance was a must. "Pleasure to be here and meet you." Max stated as their greeting to Belle.

Kristina smiled, realizing that Max did seem a bit young for their age. Younger than Garret for sure. "It looked like a nice pose to me." Candy explained what they would be doing when they got to the mall and she just smiled, clearly excited. Though Max seemed to know who the lady was, "That name sounds familiar..." It then crossed her mind, she had ran into her at the party or at least that is what her memory seemed to want to believe. "Your partner?" She was still getting used to the whole Chasers group and even powers. When they walked in, Annabelle didn't take long to flirt with them, she just forced a small to form on her face. Nicholas would want to be here right about now... oh jeez... Garrett and him must be driving Dream insane... She forced the thought out of her mind before speaking towards Candy. "It's okay, I don't mind." She answered back, not wanting Candy to give up this place just because she felt a little awkward by being flirted with. Kristina then joined Max in greeting to Annabelle because she hadn't thought of saying it sooner.

"So Max, what hair style are you thinking of going with?" They hadn't been around when she told Candy she was planning on having her hair trimmed before having the brown tips on her hair get redyed because it was fading. Then something crossed her mind, "Candy the flower did you already give Max theirs?" She asked, somewhat curious on what Max would have to say about the flower being given to them.

Candy glanced at the other two. "I forgot, hehe." She pulled the Love Lily out of her purse, perfectly intact since her purse was mostly empty.

"Here you go, Max, this should make Dream fall for you even more. If that's possible. I've never seen him get so flustered about another person, ever. I bring your name up while we are having our weekly meal together and he turns bright red and tells me to stay out of it. Of course he's a boy, so he's sensitive about it. I still remember the last time I had a fan like that. Some little 16 year old, he fell hard and followed me everywhere, it was kinda creepy actually. He gave up after a while. I guess it was my own fault really. I mean I blew him a kiss that first time, and he just popped into stalker mode. At least Dream isn't like that. He's just easily flustered. Now then, Belle, the standard for me and my friends. Max is probably like me and wants something low maintenance with their hair. Kris needs her hair redone color wise. And for our nails, I just want the tips done for today, not sure about these two but hey it's up to them."

Candy grinned as Belle called her team together. Each of the group was taken by a different young woman to a chair with a sink near by and series of bottles and jars. Thus began the shampoo and scalp massages. The skin treatment would be right after the haircuts.

[Max Abner]

Max smiled at the idea of there being a phone case with them on it. They had never had something like that made of them. When Kris brought up Alana again Max nodded. "Yea Alana's my partner. We go on mission together and fight together. My parents don't like the idea of me fighting Darkness alone so they got me a snake and a partner to protect me." Max was having fun so far. At least they weren't being interrogated or something. When Kristina asked about their hair Max took off their hat and ruffled their already messy hair. "I wasn't too sure. Maybe something a little shorter. As long as it doesn't require a lot of work I'm game for anything." Max was about to ask Kristina the same thing when a flower was brought up.

When Candy produced the flower from their bag Max's face lit up and they took the flower gently. They didn't want to break it or ruin it in any way. Max gently tucked the stem into their breast pocket so that the actual flower poked out the top. When Candy began talking about how it would make Dream fall for them they blushed a little. Max laughed at the idea of Dream getting flustered over them. He had seemed very confident when Max had talked to him so the idea of him being flustered over them was almost hilarious. Max loved Candy's story about her admirer, it was interesting to hear about something like that from somebody so much older than them. Then the conversation switched back to the haircuts just as fast as it had switched to the flower.

Max was happy with how Candy described the haircut that they wanted. Low maintenance was the goal. When the people came and took them over to the sinks Max went happily along with them for the scalp massage. Max had never done anything like this so they planned to enjoy it. They closed their eyes and signed. They had never had a whole lot of friends other than Alana so it was nice to be meeting all these new people who were all so nice. If anything it was better for them to make friends now, since they hadn't really had time to make friends since they joined the Chasers.

Kristina found herself staring at Max, from the look of age she wouldn't want them fighting Darkness alone either. "Well Alana must be lucky then to have you as her partner." She answered back, though that lucky would go both directions. When Candy was pulled away, Max had too, leaving her with her whole crew working on her hair. "So I just want my hair trimmed and the brown dye is fading so I would like my tips redyed." She answered, first they put her in the chair and started trimming, then relayering, then they washed her hair, before mixing the brown in a bowl and started placing the dye on the tips of her hair.. Once that was finished they took her to have her hair dried. Then they gave her a mirror to look at her hair before pulling her aside once more to wash her hair, careful not to remove any dye that happened to be dry before asking Kristina what she would like done next. She opted for a manicure. They clipped her finger nails, cleaned the tips, and by her request painted the tips white. She then was pulled to get a pedicure, closing purple as the nail polish. It was so relaxing, but she had opted for her phone to be nearby just in case even though a girls day out was supposed to have no interruptions. She peeked at her phone, a bunch of messages from Garrett and Nicholas. She opened one and it sounded like they had dragged Dream to the store to get hair dye for themselves. Saying they wouldn't have the brown blond hair anymore.

She rolled her eyes, feeling sorry that had dragged Dream to the store just for hair dye. She then noticed a few pictures had been sent, her brother Nicholas kept his long hair but had black hair which was his normal hair color, with red tips. Garrett also had black hair but his was so much shorter, with red tips on his ends as well. So they chose to go back to their normal hair color... but the red tips that is new. She send a message back saying they both looked good before sending one to Dream, apologizing for her brothers dragging him out of the house just to go to the store. Another message back from Nicholas claiming that were playing truth and dare, she wasn't sure if Dream would really play that game with her brothers or not but it was possible they were lying to her or only the two of them were playing it. She laughed before hiding the phone again, trying to enjoy the last few minutes of her pedicure before glancing over to see Candy and Max, wondering if she would find them finished or if they still were getting taken care of themselves. When her toe nails were dry she carefully placed her socks over as well as her boots before standing, waiting for Candy or Max to say they were ready to go clothing shopping.

[Candy Green]

Candy had a wonderful time herself. She got a deep wash of her hair, which was always kind of dry after a shift to something with fur. When she was done they trimmed the ends, because even though she was a shape shifter, she couldn't do anything about split ends and such. She then shifted her hair to be a more golden brown than blonde, and they styled it into something low maintenance, that still looked feminine. She then had her nails trimmed and buffed, then had stripes painted onto them. She only had her toes trimmed and buffed, opting out of a polish. She then had a special cream worked into the skin of her hands, feet, and face. It was specially designed for Shape Shifters, helping their skin return to a more human texture, since some shifters ended up with dryness after a full shift. For her it was her skin and hair.

She stood when she was done, staying in bare feet. "Now for the clothes!"

Belle laughed and beckoned the three of them over to a section of the boutique that had bolts of cloth and fabric in dozens of colors and designs. "Choose a fabric or two, depending on what you want to be wearing when you leave. Leave Candy to me though, otherwise she'll walk out of here dressed as a purple Mongoose. Or worse."

Belle selected a soft, but heavy, reddish brown fabric and a bolt of high quality denim. She held the fabric in her hands and it began to flow of its own accord seemingly stretching out and shaping itself into a warm long sleeved blouse and a pair of heavy jeans. The fabric required no stitching whatsoever, and fit Candy perfectly. A third section of fabric in a matching color of red brown to the blouse formed into a soft beret. Candy went into a changing room and came out dressed in the custom fit clothing. An employee of the boutique came over with a pair of knee high white stockings and black leather boots that went halfway up her calves. Candy set the beret on her head slightly off to one side, allowing a single cat ear to poke out of her hair, and her tail came out just above the waistline of the jeans.

"Now you know why I go here. Belle is Argi's only Gifted Tailor. She can freely control fabric and thread. She can also measure you with just her eyes. And shes a fair had at tennis." Candy grinned at Max and Kris.

[Max Abner]

Once they were done washing Max's hair they took them over and say them down to cut their hair. Max mentioned that they would like it shorter and the stylist nodded. Because of their ability to change their gender things like hair and body changed. They had figured this out a while ago when they got their hair cut as a girl and it didn't stay cut as a boy. Things like colour stayed, but not length, which left a lot of room for creativity. When Max was finished with their hair being cut it was shorter, with a messy look that was still stylized. Max liked it. When it came to nails they asked for their nails to be coloured black and white, like a chessboard. Once the person doing their nails got to their missing pinky tip Max laughed. "You can skip that one." They stayed.

Once Max had their nails done they wiggled their fingers away from their face and walked over to where Kris and Candy were. Apparently now it was time to chose what they were going to wear. Max expected to walk over and find a bunch of beautiful dresses and pants, but most, if not all of it, was just fabric. Max smiled. They'd be choosing the fabric instead of the clothes? Interesting. Max watched as Candy went off with Belle to chose fabric. Max smiled at Kris and then began searching through all the frabrics. They found a really soft white fabric and then found a black leather. Max tucked those two under their arm and then found a dark denim fabric.

Max smiled at their fabric choice and brought it over to where Belle and Cnady were. Max was just in time to see Belle make Candy's clothes. Max beamed as they realized that she was using a power in order to make the clothes. They let Belle transform their fabric selections into dark jeans, a white shirt with a loose collar, and a black leather jacket. Max nodded happily. According to Candy they'd fit perfectly. Max followed the older girl. "That was so cool! I don't even know how to sew, let alone form clothes just like that." They adjusted the new jacket happily. They looked at Candy's new clothes and laughed. "You look really good" They stated honestly.

Kristina found herself lost in all the chooses of fabric that she wasn't paying attention to Annabelle creating the fabric around ones body, she was just having a hard time choosing between all of the choices though because she was limited on clothing from the house being caught on fire she was left choosing some denim not as dark as the ones Max picked out, she was expecting to get three of those all for long jeans since she would be switching between them while she was doing her laundry. She then found a couple of fabrics that would make really nice long sleeve shirts, some blues, purples, reds, greens. She figured she'd likely get at least seven made for herself so that she didn't have to wear the same shirt before having it washed. "Candy, for running clothes, should I pick out some fabrics for those as well?" She asked, if Candy had changed her mind for paying she would have her wallet still handy to pay for all of these clothes. "I'm not sure if you heard Max, but my house was caught on fire so I moved in with Candy and Dream..." She felt like explaining, though Max likely had heard about it since Candy knew them and many Chasers were helping out because of all the drama Kristina and her brothers had to go through right this second. There was no way that anybody in town would have avoided finding out her beloved foster mother was murdered though.

"Annabelle, can you help me with a few choices please?" She had no style, she was looking for fabric that would make really good white shirts or t-shirts to run in with shorts. She also wanted to get more socks, new boots, and some running shoes. Candy had already taken her brothers shopping but she was started to realizing how terrible she was at this type of thing. She hadn't even gotten to the section to get fabric for pj's yet, likely to get at least two of them and of course a girl couldn't leave this store without stacking up on under clothes and a couple of bras. I'm looking at this stuff and I don't know how my mother did it.... and by the time we left home our foster mother and second foster mother helped picked out our clothes.... She thought to herself as she glanced at Max looking for suggestion on what she should get, the only thing she didn't care about was getting any formal clothes, thought she had a bad habit in avoiding getting high heels even though she really loved those boots and being somewhat taller.

[Candy Green]

Candy laughed. "Belle will have everything ready for us by the time we leave. Just tell her what you need and she can make it."

Candy pointed to fabrics. And then was caught by a bolt of cloth that was, in her eyes, incredible. It was a shade of purple no one would wear as a solid piece. It was meant for trim. Candy pulled it out. "Can I get a dress of this? My last dress got shredded at the Christmas party."

Belle glared at Candy. "You honestly have no sense of style what so ever. I am not making you a dress with THAT as the primary color. I will make you something, you just wait for it. Honestly the things I put up with for friends." Her tone though announced she was joking.

[Max Abner]

Max had already changed into their new clothes and was looking them over as Candy stated that Belle would have everything ready by the time they left. When Kris started speaking about her house burning down Max was a little surprised. They had heard of a fire recently, but they hadn't realized that the house had been Kris's. "Yea, Candy and Dream are really nice. I didn't know that you're house burned down, but it doesn't surprise me that you're staying with them." Max smiled at Kris to try and reassure her and then went back to looking at the fabric.

So far Max was really happy with the clothing as they were probably the best fitting clothes they had ever worn. Of course they could expect no less from a gifted tailor. Max went back over to the bolts of cloth and looked through them all. Maybe something they would wear as a girl so that there would be something for them made by Belle no matter what gender they were feeling on any given day. Max thought through this and when Candy talked Max wandered over to see which fabric she wanted a dress out of. Max laughed at the idea of a dress made out of that shade of purple.

Max laughed at Belle's teasing and motioned Candy over. "If you want a purple dress I think there was a colour over here that would work better." When they found the bolt they were looking for Max gestured to it. The colour was a plum colour, more muted than the one than Candy had chosen, but it would still work well in dress. "Better or worse than the last colour?" Max asked both Candy and Belle. Thanks to their mother being an artist they liked to think they knew colours, but they never really knew what people might want in those colours.

Kristina found herself looking at a bunch of different fabrics and when she was finally done she found herself picking out a new pair of booths and some running shoes. Finally, I have finished... She thought to herself thinking it was more work then she would have liked. Annabelle helped her get the fabric made into her size so she had jeans, shirts, white shirts, shorts for running, some under clothes, boots, socks, and running shoes. "Sorry it took so long, I'm sure the boys gave you a much easier time Candy." She answered her back, taking a bunch of bags in her hands, still planning on paying for it if Candy had chosen to change her mind. "What is next Candy?" She asked, before hearing her phone go off. Of course she set everything down to look at the text message. She frowned before shoving it back into her pocket. "Hey Candy, aren't they able to track down where the phone is these messages are sent from?" She asked somewhat surprised they hadn't found the lady who killed her foster mothers, the one back in her hometown and the one from here, being relatives to each other, and had been the reason for her house burning down. Of course she kept getting messages, so far her brothers never seemed to get anything from the lady yet, which was good because she didn't want to keep track of their phone too. "Hey Max, did you want to come by the house later? I'd love for you to meet Nicholas and Garrett." And I think they are driving Dream insane... might be fun to watch his face expression.

[Dream Wolf]

Candy glanced at the color that Max had picked out and was, once again, in love with a bolt of fabric. She held it up and made sounds of awe. She was not joking, she was being totally serious. Sadly, for Candy this was normal behavior. She always picked the thing that caught her eye first, which was why she always looked like some kind of Kitty Clown... Though she sometimes mixed it up by having floppy dog ears and a bushy tail...

When Kris brought up tracking phone calls she nodded. "Yeah they can do that. You'd have to talk to Shana though, she can call it in and have it traced. But unfortunately if they have one of those new disposable phones they can just ditch it and get a new one. But we can stop by on the way home and ask anyway. And don't even think about paying for any of this! I told you not to worry about it so don't." Candy sniffed as a smell wafted into the boutique. it was the smell of hot brownies, and her nose shifted of its own accord to have a dogs sense of smell. She picked up scents of cream and vanilla. Hot fudge brownies...Ala' mode.

"We're going to Jerry's...." She was already thinking more about the food than the clothes at this point. "Belle, put it on my account...all of it. It's my treat. Now should I get vanilla or chocolate ice cream...I wonder if they have pistachio..." She began wondering towards the open mall. Her nose leading the way. There were many things to be said about Candy, but you could never say she was concerned abut her eating habits. If she started to gain weight she just shifted forms and ran it off. You could burn a lot of fat in the form of a dog or horse...

[Max Abner]

It seemed that Candy liked the fabric that they had chosen so Max chuckled and kept wandering around and choosing different fabrics that either felt nice or looked nice. They picked out a couple different bolts of fabric and marked them off. Those were the ones that Max liked and would wear together. There was a conversation about tracking phone calls that Max was obviously not a part of. They didn't want to pry into Kris and Candy's personal lives if they could help it. They figured that everybody revealed their private lives to different people at different levels of closeness so if they wanted to tell Max they would and if they didn't then it wasn't Max's business.

When Kris mentioned going to her house later to meet her brothers Max smiled and nodded at her. "Sounds like fun. I'd be happy to come over if you'll have me." Max wandered back over to the other two girls and smiled. They looked down at their more boyish clothes and wondered if Dream was going to be there. Something he had said at the party made them think that he wasn't exactly romantically involved with boys. Max shrugged it off. It would be fun either way, they'd make sure of that. They were kind of awkward around negative emotions, including theirs, so they just stayed happy.

When Candy began talking about food Max nodded. Food sounded good right now. They followed Candy to wherever she was taking them. Max heard her talking about ice cream and so Max's mind shifted to ice cream too. They really liked vanilla, but then there was also things like blueberry and cookies and cream that Max loved so they would have to look through all the flavours.
