Dream was amused by the antics of the twins. He grinned at Garrett when he apologized for them. "Don't worry about it, I deal with siblings often enough, though I don't have any myself. Its not unusual for siblings to each gain powers and go to the Academy together."

He laughed aloud when Kris asked about the size of the buildings. "They extend underground, so they are actually a lot bigger than that. Each has the room to house one hundred people comfortably. Entry is simple, you open the door, there are special techno-spells in place to prevent Darkness from entering." He didn't mention that because of his own Darkness kept him from getting in.

"The Cell shop is just around the corner. After we get the phone, we'll go to some other places you should know. Starting with the Forge. Its a place where Chasers gather to get their weapons, or repair the ones that they already have. But it's a good place to know, if you know the Chasers by name, they are more likely to help you." He started walking again and true to his word, the cell shop was just around the corner. The place was brightly lit, and had signs offering great rates and 'awesome' packages.

He walked in and was greeted by a bouncy red headed girl in her twnenties. "Dreamy! Hows it going? Oh is that your new girlfriend? Just kidding buddy. How can I help you today?" She grinned at the group and it was immediately obvious that she was a person who was never upset, and tried to make everyone feel just as happy as she was.

"Hey 'Shana. My friend here needs a phone, they haven't been here long and its dangerous to not have a way to call for help. I think something like mine would be good, its simple enough, and easy to use. No need for one of those ridiculously complicated things." He blushed a bit and looked at Kris. "Sorry about her, shes chronically upbeat."

"Okay here are six kinds of phone like Dream's, there are seven colors to choose from, and if you want me can order you a new cover in the color of your choice. We also have back covers with the images of the city's most popular Chasers on them! A new addition is is Candy, Dream's very own baby sitter. It took forever to get her to pose for a picture." 'Shana grinned at the group.

Kristina hadn't heard the comment between Dream and Garrett because she was focused on Nicholas. "Oh I see." She answered him back just staring at it. "So everybody can go in there." Garrett commented, not knowing about Dream having some darkness in him. "That is right." Kristina added, not knowing that wasn't a true fact. Had she known about Dream having Darkness in him she wouldn't have changed her answer, not really wanting her brothers to know right now about the comment that Dream had said last night. Though if he chose to tell that would be up to him. Though if she understood what he had told her yesterday she would have pulled him aside to ask him without her brothers knowing she was talking about him. They wandered around the corner and Kristina listened as he explained how they would go to other places around the city. "Sounds good." She agreed as they slowly walked into the shop. She looked at the lady with red hair as she talked to Dream. She blushed when the girl asked if that was his girl friend and Nicholas laughed again. Garrett laughed too. Both stopped when the lady said she was kidding.

Kristina forced herself to smile but was not handling the hard time those three were giving them. Though the red head made her feel more at ease than Nicholas and Garrett. So her name is Shana... She noted, listening as Dream explained that she was looking to get a new phone. "It's fine." She answered back as she looked at the phones, I have no idea on how to use any of these.... Garrett looked at the phone. "Hey sis since we are sharing... we should look at many of the phones before we pick on..." Garrett suggested and Kristina thought in her mind. Why did I bring those two again? She loved Garrett but now they were likely to take forever in the store. Garrett found himself looking at the Droid Turbo and she slowly moved over to look at them too. Nicholas had been practicing on the phones. "Now Kristina I think this would be such a good phone for you." She looked at Nicholas, glaring. I will show you a cute phone....

She found herself staring at the Droid Turbo, having no idea on how to use any of them. "Maybe we should get three different phones after all." Kristina started, Garrett smiled at her. "Okay." He answered before grabbing the one he wanted. Nicholas followed right behind him. Am I the only one that doesn't know what phone I want? Nicholas and Garrett both got the same type of phone. Droid Turbo. "Do these phones come in different colors? I'd had for Nicholas to pick up my girly one..." She paused before adding, "Well maybe we don't need different colors, just hard covers." She looked at Candy as she posed. "Can I see the other hard covers so that we can pick different ones?" She asked then thought to herself, Dream only said I could be on his plan... but I can't leave these two out of a plan.... "Would it be okay if they were on your plan too Dream?" She asked, planning on getting a plan for the three of them if Dream said no.

Dream looked at Kris when she asked if her brothers could be on the plan. "That's fine, better actually, so that they have a phone for emergencies. I don't mind at all. You can have up to six phones per plan without having to add to the plan."

Shana watched Dream with a small smile. He was just the kind of person to do something like this. "Each phone will be thirty bucks a month, you get unlimited call and text, and two gigs of data for the month. If you go over your data plan, it costs an extra ten for the extra gig. Each phone will get its own bill, and if you don't pay it, we contact Dream before we shut the phone off. You get your bill the third of the month, and you have until the 25th to pay it. If you don't pay the phone gets turned off on the first of the next month. If you pay after the 25th you get a ten dollar late charge. If you need to turn your phone back on, you get a twenty dollar reactivation fee."

Dream waited for Shana to finish with the explanation, and pulled out the box with the different back covers. There were fifteen to choose from image wise, and each image came in ten colors.

Dream pulled out his phone and showed the cover on his, it was a black haired woman with a massive sword standing next to a man with what looked like a old fashion musket with a bayonet. At their feet was a white dog covered in spiked armor. "My parents, this was made by a Chaser who can 'print' his memories onto surfaces. I had to get it custom made but it was worth it."

Kristina smiles at Dream when he said her brothers could be on the plan too. She nods her head as Shana explains the phones to her. Each phone bill would be sent to her so that Garrett and Nicholas didn't feel a need to pay money out of pocket. "Is there a way for those two's bill to be sent to me?" She asked, knowing that Nicholas and Garrett weren't paying attention. It also meant that if something happened to them she would have an easier time taking them off of the plan. She then looked over at the different colors for the cases and allowed her brothers to chose first as Dream pulled his out so that she could see his hand a picture of his parents. "That is so cool Dream, you can have it anywhere you go." She answered him back as she looked at the different cases, her brothers had both picked one out. One had Candy on it, the other had Max. Nicholas of course was the one to pick Candy for his case and Garrett had picked Max. She was still picking out a case for herself, finding one that had a lady on it with red hair. She didn't know the lady's name was Alana.

"I think I'll pick this one." She answered as she decided finally. Her brothers set the phones on the counter with the cases and Kristina joined them, setting down down she pulled out her wallet with the card on it. One might ask how she came up with so much money to spend, she wasn't in the mood to share right this moment. Her brothers didn't seem to care that she was paying for it, seeing as they had cards linked onto the account. She gave Shana the card waiting for her to slid it before taking it back from her. "I would like a receipt." She added, just in case Shana wasn't one for giving unless being asked. Nicholas and Garrett already started on their phones, Kristina hadn't moved from her spot because she had no idea on how to activate her phone. Nicholas was watching Garrett it was the only reason why he was able to manage but Kristina didn't want the world knowing she had no idea on how to set it up so she just stared down at her phone not doing anything. "Aren't you going to activate your phone?" Shana had asked her, Kristina was pulled from her thought unsure on how to answer that. "Umm yes..." Kristina answered, picking up the phone she continued to stare at it.

Dream grinned as he realize Kris didn't know about cellphones "Here, you push this button to turn it on, and when it asks you questions, you type the answer on the screen that comes up. And of course the bill can be sent to you."

When the phone showed a question asking Name and Gender he pointed out the keyboard for the anme and the two options for gender. "I can't imagine how Max answered that one haha. Ah sorry Max is a Chaser I know, their power makes them Gender Fluid, so both and neither at the same time. One of my best friends actually." He did not feel the need to mention his personal, very confusing, feelings for Max. He checked the boys to make sure they were also progressing with their phones.

Shana printed the receipt and placed it on the counter, along with a couple of cards that went with each phone. "These are you warranty cards, if something happens to the phone, bring this card and the phone back here and we will replace or repair, depending on the problem. And if you lose the card, you'll have to get Dream to come in with you."

Dream waited fro Kris to get through the start up questions then showed her how to enter new numbers to the phonebook. He recited his number for her so she could enter it. Then he explained how to make the Chaser Alert number the first speed dial. "And remember when you want to call someone without using the phonebook on your phone, you have to type the number, then hit the green button with the phone image on it."

Kristina watched as Dream pointed out how she was to activate the phone and pushed the button, deep down amazed as it turned on. Then she started feeling out the information. "Oh neat." She answered him back, though she wasn't judging. Her brothers showed Dream their phone covers, Garrett really liked the one with Max on it and Nicholas of course loved Candy's pose. Kristina took the receipt and placed it in her wallet before putting it back in her back pocket. Shana then gave them cards and she took all three, placing it in her left front pocket. "I'll make sure to not lose them." She answered them back, not trusting Nicholas to avoid losing his or Garrett to keep his in the room. Mostly because Nicholas would likely take it for a joke. "I really doubt bringing Dream in would be that hard." Kristina answered smiling at Dream then back at Shana. "But I'll make sure not to lose them." She stated as she finished adding the numbers on her phone. "Oh I see." She answered, making sure to have the Chaser's number as the first speed dial than Dreams as second. "Nicholas and Garrett did you get those numbers added into your phone yet?" She asked, before switching numbers with her brothers, making sure Garrett had her and Nicholas and that Nicholas had both her and Garrett before placing her phone in her right pocket. "Alright what was next Dream?" They spent so much time at the cell phone store she couldn't remember what they had planned to do next.

Dream looked at them, making sure they had everything settled. "Shana, make sure you add me as their emergency contact on the Chaser Line, that way if something happens I find out."

He headed towards the door and laughed. "Now we go to the Forge, so I can show you my baby." He kept mum as they rounded the corner and went down a street to a place that smelled like burnt metal and scorched leather.

"Dreamy! How goes it?!" A young woman in a leather apron waved as they approached. She looked just like Shana, but had her hair up in a bun, where Shana had hers short cut into a bob. "Oh? Shana said you were keeping some pretty good looking company."

"How ya doin Lash?" Dream shook his head. "This is Shana's twin sister, Lasha, they can communicate telepathically. Lasha took my place as Blacksmith's Apprentice when i joined the Chaser Academy. That big man over there with the white hot rod of steel in his hand? that Callus Swime, the Blacksmith. He can withstand temps over six thousand degrees, without breaking a sweat." Dream walked over to a bench covered with a tarp and pulled the tarp off revealing a few pieces of armor: a pair of guantlets, a pair of boots and a helm, that gave off a slight glow and looked like they were made of starlight.

"My baby. The armor that repels Darkness. I call it Starlith. The metal comes from space, collected over the years by the Chasers, but no one could work it. Even if heated to 10,000 degrees it doesn't become pliable, and barely gets warm to the touch. Darkness actually feels pain if touched by it. I'm the only one in the world, who isn't a god, who can work it. It's not easy to do and takes a lot of focus and energy. It's taken me four years to make just these pieces."

He pulled on the gaunlets and shoved his hands into the forge with a grin. He held them there for a few minutes and pulled them out, he slid the gauntlets off and held up his hands for them to see. "Not even red."

Kristina listened as Shana and Dream spoke before following Dream out the door, making sure to look back to see that Nicholas and Garrett but mostly Nicholas was following. He was being slow. "Nicholas..." She called over, making him finally walk faster towards the door and out. She listened to Dream say where they were going and walked faster to keep up with him, giving her brothers reason to not walk slow behind her. She followed him inside to hear somebody calling out to Dream. Okay so she is Lasha, Shana's twin sister. She thought to herself, listening to Dream explain how she took his place when he joined the Chaser Academy. And he is Callus Swime... She noted in her head as she smiled to the Blacksmith. She found herself following after Dream when he walked over to a bench and pulled the tarp off of it. She was impressed, Garrett seemed impressed too. Nicholas not so much but he was watching for his own gain. Kristina punched him in the shoulder but didn't say anything and he seemed to focus much better. "So wait are those hot then? Like right now?" She asked, almost wanting to touch but she didn't dare because it sounded like for it to work against Darkness it had to be heated. "Do you think those with fire element are able to handle using it against the Darkness?" She asked for her own gain, not for Nicholas who was more than interested in getting that as his gift if he was lucky to get one at all.

"Nah it repels heat, it would be good for a fire user though, since it doesn't distort with heat. My power manipulates the metal without heat, though some metals do heat up when I use it."

He picked the gauntlets up and passed them to her, they were cool to the touch. "Put them on, you wont even feel the heat of the forge."

The big Blacksmith however reached over and closed the door to the forge. "Enough Dream. You have other things to do today, like get the next shipment of Starlith from the Chaser Academy's vault. If you want your armor to ever see use, you need to finish it." The man was not being mean, but he knew Dream needed to be put on task. "You listen to Dream as he tells you about our city. He may not be an adult yet, but he's been through more than some people go through in two life times. He knows the city streets like no one else, and while he may not be fully trained, he is a good fighter. Though he lets this get to his head. Dream do you remember when you tried to take on three brutes by yourself? Because one was trying to eat a dog? Now lets see you was it you had to thank for getting your sorry butt out of that? Ah yes Candy, that poor girl who should be leading her own life, but is stuck bailing you out everytime you get that knight in shining armor idea." The smith was grinning as Dream squirmed. He had been trying to act mature for a change, to make a good impression, but this might ruin the image he was trying to cultivate...

"I didn't ask for her help, and she always just seems to be there, almost everytime..."

Kristina smiled when Dream spoke about the gauntlets and explained how they weren't even hot, but then Callum closed the door to the forge and spoke to Dream. She frowned as she listened to them talk, it was true that he had things to do but at the same time he was helping them out. She felt sorry for him but Nicholas was snickering next to her so she punched him again. "What was that for Kris?" He asked finally, "Be quiet..." She answered him back, Garrett was the one to answer. "Sounds like the trouble Nicholas and Kristina get into, but it wasn't close to death... or at least Kristina wasn't..." He finished, not really thinking about holding back on their story. Nicholas had frowned at Garrett and Kristina spoke. "Garrett..." But Garrett had ignored them, "My brother caught the house on fire with our parents still in it.... almost killing himself in the process... Kristina ran back in and dragged him out." Kristina rubbed her hand against her forehead but when she saw Nicholas moving towards Garrett she put her hand in front of him. "We can't keep the secret for ever Nicholas... our parents weren't good people. You did what you had to." Nicholas was still bothered by the memory.

"I wouldn't change that day for anything." Kristina finished, trying to comfort Nicholas. It was then that Garrett noticed he had made a mistake by telling their past. "It's okay Garrett." She noticed his face expression and reached out to hug him. All they needed was each other. "Sounds like myself." Nicholas started as he looked at Dream. Kristina looked at the Blacksmith after a few moments before Dream, "She sounds like a real friend, I'm not sure him being a knight in shining armor is a bad idea...." She didn't know very much about the darkness, "You said that when we look at those other areas you wouldn't go without other Chasers, sounds mature to me." She finished, not realizing how often Dream had his moments of being a knight.

Dream looked at them when their past came to light. "It takes courage to run into a burning building, well that or brain damage. But I've done some pretty crazy things before. And it sounds like your parents weren't good people at all, if their own children felt the need to get rid of them. I can't ever understand what you went through, but I won't judge you for it. I'm half Darkness, it lives inside me, so I have no right to judge anyone."

He looked at Nicholas. "How did you start the fire?"

Kristina listened as Dream made a comment, "I would like to think it was courage, but I wouldn't be surprised if I have brain damage." She replied back but Nicholas corrected her, "My sister doesn't have brain damage, if it weren't for her I would be a monster from what those people did to me and my younger siblings...." He was talking about his twin sister and younger brother. "My parents were leaders of a Mafia group.... and they wanted us children to follow in their steps..." Kristina wasn't proud of them, "When they found out we planned on running away they were going to stop us, I only had time to get Garrett out before he set it on fire...." Kristina felt like she was reliving the moment. "Nicholas would be dead if I hadn't gone back in for him." She finished, not sure of what she'd do without her brothers. Dream said that he was half Darkness and it hit her. Did he say that yesterday? But my comment... he never corrected me. "You don't look like you have Darkness to me." Kristina spoke, breaking the silence. Her brothers seemed to agree with her when she had made the comment, planning to agree with her without argument.

Dream then asked Nicholas how he set the house on fire. "My parents liked smoking a lot.... so I stole their box of matches and lite them all, making sure to cause the fire to go on many spots of the home." He wasn't going to get he got into another fight with their father and his mother joining in front of Kristina or Garrett. "My parents were likely to distracted by the fire to try and leave." Kristina finished for him, it was as if she knew his thoughts but she didn't know how correct she would be on that comment.

Dream nodded. "You've come to a good place then. No one here will judge you on what you did. You saved yourselves and each other. You will find only praise and acceptence for that. Argi City is a place peace, even with our problems with the Darkness. I think you would benefit from knowing the locals. We have many people with painful histories. I loved my parents and lost them, your parents were bad people, and you saved the world from their evil. Callus was a slave, used to make weapons of war. Shana and Lasha were locked away in a basement when their telepathy awakened. Candy is the daughter of a ship's captain and a useless lump. My mother was the daughter of a mercenary who killed people for fun, and my father was abandoned in the woods by his parents when his sister was born. If everyone had the perfect life, then life would be very boring."

He finished his rant and was breathing a little heavier. "So. Lets head to the Training Dojo, you can sign up for self-defence classes if you want. After that we can go to the Lily Pond Café and get some lunch, my treat."

Kristina nods her head in agreement, thinking she might find happiest in this city even though they never had it back home. "I feel like the money I use is dirty money... but my parents had set up an account, we all have access it's just easier for me to handle it." Her brothers didn't argue with her about the comment but nod their head in agreement. "I don't know if they put the money in the account from their crime of if it was before... but at the time I felt like we needed it so we never made my effort in trying to give it back." At least now the world knew how she got so much money, thought they didn't spend money recklessly. "It might be fun signing up for classes and maybe they will let me lean a hand..." Kristina spoke excitedly as they followed Dream towards the training Dojo. "If you insist... though I'd be more interested on what you suggest on the menu... we've never eaten there before." It was easy for her to answer for her brothers since she never ate there and her brothers were always with her.

Dream looked at her. "Money is money, it makes the world go round. As long as you use that money to better yourselves and the world? I don't think the important people will mind. I don't, but I don't know how important I am to you at this point, I hope I have gotten as far as a friend though."

He lead them to a building that proudly proclaimed itself the heart of the city's defence, though that was an exaggeration. "Welcome to Argi Dojo, the best place to learn selfdefence in the city." He held the door, and grimaced when a man inside yelled his name. "Take it easy Arnoldo. I'm sorry I missed the last meeting, but I had other things on my mind. Why don't you get some fliers for three people. Their relatively new to the city and might be interested."

A man came jogging up to the group, he was dressed in a fashion that made his sexual persuasion very obvious. His frilly pink shirt and purple pants also proved he had no fashion sense, despite the stereotype. "Be a dear Dream and show them around. I have a class right now." He turned back and turned and gave a wink to Nicholas. "You should join. The ladies love a man with muscles. I do too."
