It's hard to get her riled up, though she still tends to overwork herself and others. If you try to tell her to relax, she'll stare at you like there's something wrong with you. She absolutely despises slackers and will, as she says it, "kick their asses into gear." This is especially so when she's fighting or training. Her personality seems to undergo a metamorphosis in that she becomes serious, even almost grim, and strict. Like a military sergeant, she'll push you and herself to the brink and will expect nothing but the best. Her passion lies in singing and dancing as well, and she takes her role as an idol very seriously. Performing in crowds of hundreds has granted her unwavering confidence, and she will never back down from a challenge. This includes the manipulation of her internal organs, gender, and even age. Music Generation: Kata can manipulate sound, but only in the form of music. From death metal to classical, she can generate music anywhere, any time, and any volume Fashionizing: Strangely enough, Kata can manipulate the very clothing she wears. She can be wearing a prom dress and then flick to a suit of armor in a blink of an eye. With her father being the former lead singer of the band "Chemical Warfare" and her mother being a former full-fledged Chaser, she was raised being practically showered in money. She had no one to share it with either, being an only child and a bit of a loner. However, she wasn't spoiled. Far from it, in fact. While she got to enjoy many privileges, she was also heavily influenced by her parents to take up one-on-one combat (Krav Maga, mainly, which frustrated her mother to no end as she claimed that it "wasn't a real martial art") and singing and dancing. Her shapeshifting and music generation powers had come from her mother and father, respectively, as well, which somehow lead to the byproduct of fashionizing. As such, she was trained strenuously by her parents by the time she was merely seven to control the former abilities, though she had to teach herself how to keep fashionizing under her control. When she was fourteen, she was scouted. Somehow an agent in a famed talent industry had caught wind of Kata's extraordinary singing and dancing ability through the many competitions she had entered and won. He contacted her with an offer to turn her into one of the greatest idols the nation would ever see. Delighted and urged by her parents, she agreed and was immediately placed in a training program that lasted several years. By the time she turned eighteen, she was already a rising star, with several albums and a couple hit singles to her name. She was reveling in her success, but her mother's training hadn't died down within her. She still spent many a lonely hour in the gym, spearing at a sand-filled punching bag with deadly techniques and the occasional shapeshifting stunt. The day Luz found her was when she was vigorously attacking one such punching bag in a gym at two in the morning, "Eye of the Tiger" blaring incessantly around her. When he observed her control over her abilities, he immediately stepped in and informed her of the Chaser cause, and maybe she would like to enroll in Chaser Academy? Finally she could put her fighting skills to good use. Kata accepted, but soon realized that maybe she had bitten off more than she could chew. Now she was toiling day and night, training in the academy and touring around the nation, performing for her hundreds of fans. Most of the time she was running off adrenaline, energy drinks, and a whole lot of coffee. But hey, she loved what she did, and she couldn't bear to abandon either of her occupations.
